High Performance Copper Head Gasket for the Mercedes M111 and M104 Engines 

Long time ago I had a V8 engine that I wanted to be around 10.5:1 compression ratio. The pistons I mistakenly ordered were ones that would have made the ratio 9:1, and I could not return them. I started thinking about decking the block or milling the heads, but found a company that made copper head gaskets that were intentionally made thinner to add a bit more compression. I never calculated the finally ratio, but the gaskets, along with the sprayed sealant, held up very well.

Would a copper gasket work for a high boost OM605?

Awesome to see guys like you brining nore M111 parts to the market, we really need more folks to do this the headgasket has always been the weakest point a good headgaskets and head bolts can see these engknes make very respectable power. Keep up the good work 🙏👍

Good to see you are back and making great video, I have a W203 coupe that I swapped to VR6 (M104.900) with HX40 and that car is fun to drive but I need to do some suspension work to make it handle better. Do you know how much weight difference you will make going from OM605 to M111 and what are other advantages to that swap for racing?

Also, another question. Any details on the stroker build? Presume lightened diesel crank, but what rods and pistons, compression ratio etc?
