Here are some of the INTENSITY drills we do 3 times a week in Miami at PD TENNIS / Instagram @brian.dabul / Email briandabulusa@gmail.com / WhatsApp +1 786-630-9298
this is awesome.. since i don't have anyone to play with i use the fill n drill tennis trainer. i just did a video on it..i absolutely love it.. great workout n helps with agility and hand eye coordination for tennis
R L Money! Not enough sponsors. To travel to tournaments all over the world is expensive (hotels, coach, food, equipment rental, training facilities, unexpected expenses, travel insurance, visas, etc.)
R L I wouldn’t make that generalization. The Williams sisters came from a very poor economically poor background from Compton.... a Black neighborhood in Southern California. Djokovic, Nadal and Federer from the lower to middle class . The Chinese from a communist class. I’d say most came from low to middle class. I’ve never heard of a top rank player that came from the upper class or rich class. They eventually became super rich. The Williams sister came from a very poor class and reached the highest super wealthy class!
R L The father of the Williams sister had a great deal to do with their successes early on in their careers. He watched over them like a hawk. He trained them and prepared for to be professionals! And kept them away from tennis academies like Nick Bollettieri Academy.
Will Chu His name is Federico Gomez from Argentina, 6’2” , 24 yrs old currently ranked 1702 ! Total earnings to date $442 dollars. He started playing when he was 3 yrs old. His recent loss was to a guy ranked 90 in the world 6-2 6-2. He looks good when practicing. But Practicing and actually playing matches are worlds apart.
There's a player my coach would always tell us about. He started tennis at 19 years old, and 3 years later he was playing in Wimbledon. Then he would also point out that there are tournaments for senior citizens. The point is, that it's not "too late".
One thing is missing from the players is the little preparation footsteps before they set up for shot. The girl in the purple outfit had those steps down though
I'm watching them hit and I'm wondering: "God, what a brave coach for standing infront of the balls !! If it were I hitting, half of the balls would smash the coach in the head !" 😂😂😂😂
I am from India. The problem is money💲! I am a big fan of tennis 🎾! It's a game like none! The only sports I like is Tennis 🎾! Even though I wanted to be a Tennis player I don't have so much money for the practice and the maximum government coaches are so lazy that they don't take care for the players and they don't take admission for the enthusiastic players! It's a reality!! I rushed almost everywhere in my state West Bengal!!
Bro then i would recommend you to practise on a tennis wall or practise ur serves in a nearby court btw are u a beginner or a pro hope this, would work for u
This is interesting the way the coach feeds the ball by simply dropping them in, it fine tunes hitting in the sweet spot. where most coaches stand on the other side of the net to try to feed to the sweet spot which is much more harder for the player to line it up, where here, the ball lines up with the racquet and its much easier to generate the pace.
EternalIdiot365 Plays i can agree as ive played both, tennis is much more complexe and each half is handled by one player (yes i know a basketball court is slightly bigger but its handled by 5 players) and it requires insane agility, cardio and some good technique
Hello! Awesome video. Do you mind if this video is downloaded and shared to the country club members of various golf courses? We are doing a golf/tennis/health tip campaign for the beginning of 2021
I have a problem/question for these kinds of power drills. I love them but theyre all putting the ball away like its a killer finishing shot. But during a ralley in a real match ones mindset is seldom like that. So the applicability of these powerdrills into a real match is small it seems. Maybe combine these drills with high percentage hits instead of killer shots? Im looking for a way to bring some of my powerdrill confidence into real matches
We used to do this drill as well. Unfortunately, our coach when to his home country and never came back for some weird reason. We don’t even know what happened .... :/
Yes I started Tennis since when I was 4 years old. By God's grace I will become Karate Champion, Great Tennis player and swimmer plus great Aircraft Engineer in Netherlands. I am waiting for this 👆 moment
I am 30 and I only played tennis once for about 10 minutes recently and found out that I don't have the kind of stamina it takes. I've regularly played cricket but this takes 100 times more stamina.
Hey, no offense, but all these players could use major improvement to their technique. Not only to improve their game, but also to avoid injury. Check out "Great Base Tennis". Ive known the head coach there since I was 5 years old. Great man.
They play wristy shots close to the body. When you watch next-gen tour players a lot of them have a fully extended arm on the forehand contact point, far from the body which generates massive pace. Jannik Sinner is a perfect example. I agree hitting a forehand like the first dude can't be good for the body long term.
@@matthewadams4097 watch any world class player in slow motion, and you will see their technique is extremely similar. I mean world class players like federer, Djokovic, even Nadal with his terrible injury prone technique is pretty similar, if analyzed in slow motion. The full extension of the arm, meaning a larger radius from the body, leading to a larger force output, is essential, in producing pace without exerting too much effort
I used to be a drilling machine and NTRP 5.5 back in the day as a junior, through college and a bit after. I can’t imagine these drills being (evidence based) an improvement over actual competitive play. I could see volley vs baseline play helping but that’s about it. Free hand ball drills don’t make much sense to me and throw off the proper swing logistics
Lo ultimo que he aprendido en tenis es que a la pelota se le pega cuando va subiendo como si fuera cas un sobre pique eso te permite que la pelota busque profundidad con mucho menos esfuerzo
TennisTroll: "Consistently", there's a key word. If that's the requirement they may not get a break. But at our club with the top juniors, I don't don't see them getting breaks before about 50 balls.
@@notsohandytim5090 I had a national coach and the basket holds about 100 balls so The Coach makes you go through the whole basket then he lets you take a break. But if you only half way through it and if you try to stop to take a rest he keeps on feeding in the ball and tells you you can't stop until the basket is finished. So its like this training, but this is more faster because the coach is right beside the player dropping in the balls. I think its effective high intensity training.
curious...is there is correction on all of those wasted little shuffle steps because the players don't know how to set up to a ball properly with large balanced steps? all of DO NOT move like world- class but everything is "good" because they are running lots...
It’s actually harder to be consistent hitting kill shots off balls without pace because you have to generate the pace, it’s much easier to use your opponents pace to hit a winner
@@jmasked5082 feet errors. Look how the boy is in confusion to recovery the position.. Errors in body balance.. He loose some milliseconds to find the stability so the backhand is too short and poor.. He loose the momentum to create energy to shoot
