Thanks sis! My home of 3 yrs was just tested for radon and has high levels...I was worried about me and my family since it's the basement. It will be mitigated soon. Just worried about the 3 yr exposure to it. Any suggestions?
This may sound light-hearted, but I mean it sincerely... pray about it and get it mitigated. You can only deal with it now and go forward. There are so many things we know to be harmful now due to advanced studies, so don't stress yourself worrying about something that you can't go back and fix. I'm not aware of any special testing you can do for yourself, but I would mention it at your next physicals and also ask the company you use to mitigate.

I just found out my level is 13.3 + 2%. I tested the level over a period of one year. How quickly must I move to correct this problem? We have lived here for 4 yrs. My three adult children sleep on the lower floor of our home. Must I take everything out of my cellar to work on the issue?
