The push in the forest was actually bad and he needlessly lost his two bmp-3 and one flamethrower tank to the AT-4 You want infantry in front, fire support in the back, things like flame tanks can work if the infantry they are attacking is surpressed or you know for sure it doesn't have good antitank weapons
What worked here for red in the forrest is having overwhelming force. I generally prefer not to defend there - rather to pull back my infantry to the buildings and bomb/arty the forest and counter attack
Exactly, nice to find this comment, was about to say the same. Just give them some good old meatshields & your tanks will do the work without getting pounded that hard
M60 is best tank in fight in EE I use it a lot with high rank with no. and AP is not bad it same for Warno i think i use it to cover the street normally or the town to support the troops
Trust me, you dont want to jump into Ranked matches. The majority of the strategies are cheesy. The higher ranks you fight, the less enjoyable it seems to get but thats just the thing with using META strats i Guess. Perhaps not this fight but its just a warning hehe. What I would do in this situation 1) retreat, don't fight in the forest 2) place infantry in the building (90% of protection) 3) buy artillery & place her behind (howitzers) What was gonna happen next: as his pushing forces started to engage with the infantry in the buildings - they stopped At that moment - give your artillery the command - fire at will U would be surprised how powerful is artillery in such a situation. Actually, I don't get why I see so few players using artillery appropriately
