State ethics laws are on the books to prevent the good ol' boy network in Louisiana, but it appears a clever workaround was found for two high-ranking employees at Angola earning $1,200 per-cut to cut a small section of grass at the prison.

Kudos to the investigative team for uncovering this, or to whoever tipped them off. I would be surprised if this ends up being the only example of using this method to get around ethics laws.

Why aren't the inmates cutting the grass??? Shouldn't be ANY contractor. You have plenty of guys sitting there and using taxpayers money to sleep all day! Simply ridiculous!!!!!!
