Low ready for safety of troops in a multi-story facility…. The guys on the second floor at the low ready pointing at the guys downstairs 😬😬😬👀👀👀

Man I’m so glad he said “former green beret” I almost confused him with a “current golfer”.

I might also use a “high ready” in a mass shooting situation when there is not a level above me. Many videos I have seen, when a shooting occurs people drop to the floor to avoid gunfire and others run….high ready would helpful until you get a clear shot on the threat in order to minimize friendly fire. Depending on the circumstances, I might stay at the ready in that circumstance until the threat is neutralized. Readiness is situational and high or low….neither works 100% of the time.
