I saw Marks wry smile when our group of heroic misfits all decided to group together at the top of the ballista tower ..... Tom is in trouble with Katy next week ...lol
YES! It feels like I've been waiting ages for this VOD, but now I'm so glad it's finally here! Can't wait to see the Stormchasers finally face off against these awesome Grief Knights!
The party tries their best, Trott gets smacked in the face and Tom is going to be in hot water next week *lmao* A tough fight and an amazing episode :D For the algorithm!
1:30:57 RSCPA would probably be a better bet, Kim. PETA would just finish killing the wyvern themselves and then turn around and rant about how horrible the war knight is. [Illuminaughti has a good episode of _Corporate Casket_ on PETA, too.]
1:23:00 for those rules lawyers out there it is actually kinda ambiguous if reckless attack affects ranged attacks with melee weapons "... Doing so gives you advantage on melee weapon attack rolls using Strength during this turn..." (PHB, pg. 48) Normally melee weapon attacks means a melee attack with a weapon, but it's always been a bit blurry. For things like Sharpshooter they do specify an attack made with a ranged weapon so I'd personally say reckless attack doesn't work with thrown weapons, but as I've said it is really DM interpretation
Hey guys, excited for campaign 3, don't rush this one though!! These characters deserve an awesome end to a long journey.Does Mark know what level he plans to run the next campaign until?I can imagine after Lightfall and Aerois he is probably tired of balancing high level encounters.Lol.
Mark was off on a couple details of Nova's fall, depending on if he's house-ruling. Obviously, who cares, it's their game, but just in the interest of pedantry.... 1) max fall damage is 20d6, so any height above 200ft is functionally irrelevant, except.... 2) You instantly fall 500ft when you first fall, and then again at the end of your next (and subsequent) turns. Nova did climb up a bit to plant her Rod, making her more than 500ft up. *Technically* the reaction to fire would occur immediately upon lighting up the rod, before she stated she climbed down. Therefore she could choose to fall 500ft, still be a few feet above the ground, and Misty Step on her next turn before she fell the remaining distance at the end of her turn. This is one of the rare cases where the exact falling rules actually matter.
1:33:47 FFS TOM HAZELL 1:40:18, 1:42:40 Kim's Gambit, also lmao 2:12:16 Babababa baaa ba holy shit 2:26:17 MONKAGIGA moment finger I can just imagine Hesper's spirit forming and just absorbing it into his hand lol. Badass. 2:35:16 Plague birth 2:37:44 Trott persuasion with War Knight
Finally caught back up to everyone! Now that I've decided to leave the Sunday game I was in I can continue to keep up with everyone, a great point to rejoin as well what with these Knights of the Apocalypse, er I mean Grief Knights! My group started it's second campaign two Saturdays ago and last Saturday was the second session, we're even testing out house rules for my future campaign in this campaign that we are interested in and Injury Checks made it! In our first big encounter our kuo-toa wild magic sorcerer lost his hand o_o (or maybe his leg, still awaiting on the DM's judgement as the number rolled wasn't the right result), but we were successful in our mission to acquire this magical device, which is suspiciously a dodecahedron that emits vast magic power... I'm sure it's nothing! We'll see when I ritual Identify next session, seeing as I'm a Knowledge Cleric who is an aarakocra (represent, Tom!) from a land of vikings and norse gods, serving Odin who in this world is purely a deity of knowledge and crafts rather than also war and magic, but that don't spot my viking bird from being a badass dad
I don't want to do the "um ackchually" thing but isn't Finger of Death 1/2 damage on successful save? Not that I care that much for the mechanics but more for the story telling so w/e
Spoilers for pretty much the end of the episode Fuuuck that last moment with Trott, "let me in", that would have been amaaazing. You can tell Mark really wanted it to work as well, it would have been insane. I strive to be that good at RP, now if only Crisp could get his dice rolls in check. A 1 and a 2. Fuck.
@@Maseman90 Tom attacked as Aila forgetting that if the dice roll is below ten with a Malay attack then the weapon is damaged so her hammer now has -1 to damage.
He isn't, he's an NPC. He just has some stats including his healing flames and flame wall. The closest would be a paladin, but they lack the fire magic.
here is the link to their formerly live twitch (don't know why the guys didn't. so i have done this) skip to 3 hours and 50 mins : www.twitch.tv/videos/1533346597
