Plumbus was just a meme character that was created when the party were talking about the author of Nova's books back on Suvona (idk how to spell it lol). Hey, shout out to Mark continuing to get rulings correct on an increasingly consistent basis. I occasionally have a bit of fun about some of his rulings, so it's only right I also say something when I notice him doing phenomenally, which in all fairness is far more often than people comment on

@@colbecresseed3698 That's a very niche ruling given that there are only four spells in the entire game that require multiple attack rolls (Blade of Disaster, Scorching Ray, and Steel Wind Strike are the others), so I can see how it would have been missed and/or why it would have been handwaved. I personally would make the same call, because the extra attacks come from the magic of the spells themselves, not any ability the caster possesses. EDIT: Also, by RAW the Stone Golem's Slow ability doesn't include the paragraph about casters needing to roll a check to avoid their spells being delayed, in case that's what you were referring to.

When Mark started describing the Gynosphinx, I started thinking about Big Cat and now I miss him :( Especially the bit on how they protect people, and Big Cat is sorta employed to the medusa lady (ack I forgot her name)

I heard Tom say that he’s to stupid to play someone as wise as quillik. I remember when I was playing a wise and cunning Druid, but I also had him light him self on fire ( intentionally) then use control flames to try to change the color of the flames to the background and become invisible. Yeah, he didn’t last long

@@thefracturedbutwhole5475 it’s because I’m an idiot, not the character. You see ,my mind is like a sandy river next to a gold mine. Theoretically, I pour out enough gold from my mouth to make a fortune, the problem is, you have to sort out what ideas are bulllsh** and what ideas might be worth something, because I’m incapable of pointing out the flaws in my own plans. Not that I can’t accept constructive criticism, but I’m not capable of producing it on myself.

@@Spiceodog We all do idiotic things when playing DnD, it's part of the fun, but if your sentence starts with "I set myself on fire" something has gone terribly wrong. A character flaw is one thing, self immolation is something else, but if that is how the character died, at least it was memorable.

Well he flew on the ship when he wasn't going into combat but he put breast plate on before entering the dungeon. I forget if Quill has aetherium breast plate and if that woukd maybe let him fly in medium armour

It kills me every time rhi dumps smites into mob enemies that she'd likely kill with a normal attack or do enough. It's the drawback of not packing days with encounters.

Also, Kim. I believe you’ve needed your GFB a bit, cause you make a melee weapon attack as part of the spell, so you should be adding Tiang-gong’s weapon dice.

Our group has been playing around with crit damage and have found a "balanced" solution. We do max damage and add proficiency bonus. This way you are always doing max plus a little.

I like the High Rollers method, for how uncommon a natural 20 is (unless you’re mark) it’s a nice reward. It also makes them a lot more terrifying when the enemy gets one.

@@jamesmaceaveli6679 That's funny, you think the Mighty Nein has 2 Clerics, more like 1 and a half, seriously though, Cadeceus joining the Mighty Nein allowed Jester/Laura to be able to focus on the things she wants to do and not be forced into the "healer" role. Sure, Matt had to adjust things but it allowed a player much more freedom to play the Character the way they want , . . . . So, tell me, where is the downside again? I think Mark is more than a good enough DM to be able to handle 2 characters of the same class without much issue.

Still catching up but excellent again as always! I was shouting nooooooooo rhi though when she was doing all the level 1 divine smites against the golems, she was missing one of the d8s. Should have been 4d8 with improved divine smite ability she now has, instead of 3d8, buggery 😁😁

Elko was destroyed, not Echo. Elko is easier to get back, because Elko is Find Steed, which doesn't have an expensive material component, while Echo is Find Familiar, which has 10gp worth of materials consumed by the spell.

Just better timing on when to use it It's not that great in combat but utility and roleplay it can be very useful All it does is double height x8 to weight And adds a D4 to damage Now if Mark was to add to it More health Maybe higher STR Prof in CON saves something to make it worth it to use in combat
