David Dosev The "lead" guitar is ear-grating and the melodic parts were sloppy as hell. Rhythm guitar was solid and thank god the drummer was ripping it. He's the unsung hero of this song. Singing was a bit out of key too sometimes, but that could very well be because she (the singer) couldn't hear very well on stage.
Me too I absolutely loved it as well, I was soooo excited to get to the part where they find out why people came back as Zombies I don’t think it really was that, because in real life there is a drug called Flawka and people were Zombie like when taking that drug So yeah. That’s why I’m wondering
Are they really dead or, is it just some kind of drug that makes it look like they die you know, because they throw up blood and that Sometimes depending on where your bit you can be dead, but let’s say if your bit on the arm or leg
It very well could be a drug that makes them have the symptoms of death, but who knows They might not be Zombies, because it looks like they’re infected by some kind of drug, and it makes them go crazy, you don’t know Nobody will know, that’s why I was getting excited to see if they’re really dead or just unintentionally infecting people with a drug when they bite people it gets in their body’s,
Well said. I also think that they always seem enthousiastic and have so much energy during their concerts. And what also stands out is that the lyrics can be pretty deep.
M Haemata Well, to be honest, while I tend to overlook that convention in some of my favorites, the harem thing gets annoying after a while. I don't mind seeing the idea occasionally, but it comes up in nearly half the anime I watch, if not more.
Unfortunately, the manga it is based off of hasn't gone far beyond where the anime ended. Until they get another season's worth of manga done, another season of the anime is not happening.
@@Typh00nLOL hey, anything to stay sane in a environment constantly acting against you. Most of their problems were humans more than zombies or including zombies... There were less than 10000 of us at one point, and they had problems like the deceases we eradicated (comparable to or worse than zombies) and the non-existence of technology which is worse than existing technology dying, but they still pulled through, because, I imagine they were sane. Can't say the same for most people today. Sorry for the long reply.
Holy shit where did the rest of the text go, I meant to say: "0% chance that's happening though, the mangaka sadly died in 2017 for heart attack and they will leave the series unfinished :("
54kr1 there's no helping it. The manga didn't even finished 'twas sad that the author diedd Edit: LMAO, now I'm not sure about this information from an article. Turns out, other articles(treated as official ones) only stated that the project was just abandoned
the guitarist is epic because he's the one and only person who used A DRILL on a guitar (that's right... A DRILL) towards the end of the song - Strike The Blood
7 years have passed, and each lyric, each tone of this song brings great nostalgia of how I loved anime, and how Im desperately hoping for someone to continue this anime. I've seen hundreds of animes over the years and I'd still prefer this over any op out there.
+Grass Cannibals (Glass Animals) Dude obviously she wouldn't sound like the studio version. Yet she still sounds amazing not like most artist that sound good with the auto tune version then in live they sound like shit.
I'm playing this right after I'm half awake and it's pretty hard to sleep after hearing it, and since I know what lyrics mean I don't have any complaints.
When I heard this song I miss 2013-2014 because it's the year that I watch highschool of the dead it's the best childhood memories for me I won't forget it😢
expert drums keeping the 190bpm alive, expert guitarist making simple chords spine chilling, vocals that rock out this world with amazing lyrics, this anime op was too extremely good
All was good, until you got to the lyrics part. Any, any, ANY, song in japanese, has horrible lyrics. Most of the time, they don't rhyme, they try to be all phylloshopical and shit, and just fail at it, most of them talk about incoherent nonsense in one sentence, which is followed up by some totally random and even more incoherent nonsense that is unrelated to what was said one sentence ago, and that makes them all look like they were written in haiku. "Good lyrics"?! Oh, please!!!
@@elcamello1980 what about good sounding lyrics for a non japanesse speaker? like those songs in foreing languages we dont know but the singing sticks.
@@davkayo6757 yeah, I'm not denying that the lyrics to some songs in foreign languages, are catchy, but that's not the point. If you're going to praise foreign song lyrics, just because you like how they sound, you can do so; but don't come at me like "these lyrics are so amazing" when you just like how they sound, and don't know what they mean.
@@elcamello1980 There are a few that does actually make total sense in both words and the actual story the opening is for "talentless nana" is by far the closest ive heard. But the majority of shoujo animes do this "kimi ni todoke being one of them. Some isekais do make sense in the lyrics but has nothing to do with the story "the genius princes guide to raise a nation out of debt" aside from the long title has a great song. But yeah most anime title songs neither makes sense in the lyrics or relates in any way to the anime theyre opening for this anime in particular is the worst offender. However the majority are good as hell anyway and lets not pretend english songs are any better. I cant tell you what the hell journeys dont stop believing is about but i dont really care cause its damn good
Watching this anime as a highschooler was nerve racking.... I would always constantly look around me if there are signs of a zombie outbreak and looks for possible escape routes in my school just in case.
So i just rewatched H.O.T.D Again it makes me miss it :( 2021 now still coming back to rewatch this video this anime/manga series holds a special place in my heart
