youre a joke and that can be picked open. most people bringing bolt cutters arent capable of the brain power necessary to realize cutting locks aint silent and youre better off just buying a lock pick set. and amazon is an even bigger joke than everything you just did due to their low quality and you cant trust amazon products.
amazon like you is a joke and id sooner trust an artificial heart made by a chinese nine year old than anything from even quality vendors from amazon ESPECIALLY security devices.
@@denmarkomark8554honest people in castles? What castle I am in Australia and the people that are the G's here live in a castle and they kill princesses.
@@eggabacon They are not made to prevent picks, they made to make thief spend as much time as possible opening it. For example, those cheap locks from the video can be picked in 5-10 seconds with a wave rake. Top security locks can be picked in 2 minutes, If there are no flaws in the design that reduce the security to the level of a cheap lock. But top security locks need more complex picks than a wave rack to pick that, which reduces the number of thieves who can do that with sufficient skills and tools, and therefore reduces the likelihood of being robbed.
He'd just wink at it and it would open... Or he'd throw a tactical sponge at it and somehow it would slice through it and blow the door off. Fuckin' legend.
Make it impossible to open from the outside by forcing it. House all the components inside the door or on the other side. Use an electronic NFC lock. Now, the only way to get inside is by "hacking"
One way is putting the lock behind a gate or something that's really awkward to reach around, and make the lock one that can only be picked by a really weird picking device. Then it's basically impossible to do without having to see the keyhole and then ordering some specialized pick online. Houses in parts of Asia lock behind the gate so it's already a challenge to even get to the keyhole.
you know that this is the whole idea behind it? the estimated time it takes to crack the lock? even military grade locks arent unpickable - nothing is. Even insurances just want a certificate that said lock takes roughly xx minutes to lock it thats it - the longer it takes the less thiefs will even try to lock it and if they though the less time they have till security comes to the lock they are locking rn
Honestly that’s a pretty good shackle guard, make sure the actual like lock is up to snuff though because that would immediately make me curious about what’s inside
@@InTheVise Using a low power beacon inside the container. Once it senses control signal, it triggers the main lock. The battery for the beacon can last for years.
Funniest thing about those pad locks on storage containers there's no need to cut the lock. That little tab it goes through is cast aluminum. You can cut through it quicker than you can cut the lock
The weak link is the actual padlock, I have yet to see any padlock be able to stand up against deep freezing using gas like Freon, liquid nitrogen, etc. just deep freeze the padlock and then hit it with a hammer. You don’t need to hit it hard just a little tap on the padlock and it shatters like glass. We used to have a trucking company that traveled all over the united state, several of our trailers got broken into usually at night and after the driver was asleep, he wouldn’t even know he was robbed until the next morning when he did a walk around the truck. It would mostly happen up around New York East coast areas. We followed the truck with a second truck in a different location in the truck stop, had people watching the whole thing. They broke the lock using a bottle of Freon and a squirt bottle of water they would get the water inside of the lock it would expand when frozen defeating the majority of locks. If that didn’t work keep lowering the temperature hit it shattering the shackle off the lock. Hardened steel doesn’t respond well to being deep frozen minus zero degrees temperatures. Your product is only going to keep honest people honest, but a criminal will always have several work arounds to get what they want. Like a battery powered sawzall and a good supply of cutting oil. Cordless drill with titanium bits to drill out the locks.
Just because you put the cheapest lock on there to cut off, that doesn't mean the last lock can't be cut off also. The bottom of the lock is sticking out and thief can still drill the cylinder.
External locks are intended just for illegal entry attempt indication. All real protection should be placed inside, and with even least possible visibility of key entry point.
Lol, bro we don't even use metal locks. We literally use those flimsy plastic strips locks for no tamper. Honestly, feel free to break them and take the cargo, that's what insurance is for. With real high value and vital things; we get a convoy of armed assistance.
It's still a container meant for transport. I am convinced there are sufficiently dedicated individuals to steal the whole container 😅 So make sure that the concrete base is heavy 🤣
