Cheers ! Its a huge effort getting out there and also doing the jigging, especially seated. Its a torium 16pg / backbone 30-50lb jig rod

Those always trick me into thinking they are a tuna! So similar in body shape and kick

Removed the old board and traced the empty space with tracing paper and added a freshly cut bit of plywood. Plastic is not a bad idea!

Done a few off camera sessions out here with different baits and no bites just yet but i’ll give it another go now that its a bit more summery

Just single speed 6.3 , eventually i will go up to a higher end lever drag in the future 👍👍

@@SkwidyFishing yes single I see but 6.3 still considered high speed. When u have two speeds the lower one is around 3.7 I think ..

Ah when i said higher end i mean a more expensive reel as the torium's are a lower end reel. yes single high speed@@SpicyAngler

what i mean in two speeds is to see what speed are u using for the verticle jigging, is it the faster or slower mode. seems you are using the high type as 6.3 is quite high. even when you have only one speed. if you would have a two speed reel, you would still use the higher mode, isn't it? @@SkwidyFishing
