I've had that suggested to me several times, and I'm at least partly open to it, although for dysphoria reasons I prefer to have my face out there to help be read as female, when my voice doesn't always get there itself.
@@EinDose Oh, I did not pick up on that, but I understand. I feel like most podcasts are on camera these days anyway so I have no problem with watching instead of just listening. I take long walks with my dog every day and can really immerse myself in a good lore discussion like this, they way you present information really works with my brain haha
Don't be too hard on ole Jannequinard. He's got it hard needing to chat up the ladies ever since his cousin unknowingly to him chose to become a pirate. He does help in getting us the symposium in the middle of nowhere. Though I do sort of worry about those kids he's teaching in the Firmament. That and I think his uncle just detests any foreigners. Forlemort not Charlemend.
I do like that the story points out that even if Jannequinard's an idiot, he's also an indispensible ally just because the one thing he IS good at is Ishgardian politics.

Someone mentioned to me privately that it might be related to the fabricator machine we see in the Skybuilders' tools quests. But without any info, it's hard to tell.
He's one of the only Forum members not wearing a hat (that isn't a viera or hrothgar), so once you know he's there, he's very easy to pick out. He's also pretty much always in the 'second layer' of full Forum scenes, behind the relevant speaking roles but still up near the front.
@@EinDose Oh him. Guess cause we just ran into the reaper quest line and Lucia was back in the story I thought he was just the token Garlean on the Forum.
