@@tmd2644 Ikr even tho I'm a Piano player any normal person can look awe t that guy in the black jacket and go hmmmm how did that violin turn into a electric guitar sounding piece of trash
I am obsessed with this dance scene!! I’ve loved it for years. Always have to replay this part when I watch the movie. Gives me chills every time. I don’t think there is another dance movie that compares to this scene.
Ha! Got y’all beat. First time I watched it was 2022 and I’m still watching it in 2024 and I’m 77 yrs young!! Love this finale dance. Beautifully done and just the right actors/actresses!
I absolutely love her music. She brought violin past and present and merged them together to form some thing beautiful. Her music appeal to both classical and contemporary lovers.
I just watched the movie, AND I KILLED THE REPLAY BUTTON OF THIS SCENE... THIS FINAL DANCE GIVES ME CHILLS! I EVEN CLAPPED MY HANDS AS IF I WAS THERE IN THE AUDIENCE!
same while nobody was clapping i was and i was like if i had been in this audience i would have been clapping alone (would not have bee the first time thought ;-p)
This is the best dance and music ever made for a dance competition movie. The entire movie is just this piece right here. After watching for the first time I rewatched 3 more times, and each time made me cry. So beautiful and strong. It brings out your emotions. This is art.
Is no one gonna talk about how she’s continuously on pointe from 4:30 to 5:00 because that’s one of the main things I notice every time I watch this dance!
I can't tell how many times I watched this final dance piece. I got my late hubby hooked on this movie for the 1st time in 2018 and he was a man who didn't get all soppy over things like this. BUT every time we watched this the volume blasted on our TV and this piece literally brought my precious hubby to tears just from pure enthrallment with the dancing and the music. My hubby's emotions totally dumbfounded my son cos he knew his Dad was not a soppy person. It just showed just how hard this dance and music hit him❤
as a former violinist, it's easy for me to tell that that guy was faking playing the violin (sometimes i curse my music knowledge :/) - though i would've felt better if i hadn't noticed it. The music style reminded me of Lindsey Stirling - classical violin mixed with a strong beat and some hip-hop. Quite catchy, but it's been done before tbh i love linsey stirling's music and this song gave me chills - it was very good
so obsessed with the final dance&the music , love the movie so much too, I literally watched both the movie and this final dance for sooooo many times ,yet it still gives me chills every time I watch it
This piece of contemporary dance is so lit, rap, ballet and all those instruments is all done so well, i can't get enough of it, especially the violin part.
What I love about this movie is that ballet dancers stuck to ballet, hip hop dancers stuck to hiphop, the violinist just played the violine and the dubstep music was kept pure. All these different genres came together and produced a masterpiece. ❤
i just finished watching the movie for the second time in my life and i forgot how good it was and how THIS SCENE the final scene was incredible it so artistic and beautiful my eyes were amazed
The music, the choregraphy. It will always amaze me!! The composer (Nathan Lanier) and choregrapher have respect for this masterpiece. I have rarely been this amazed. The actors and musian did an amazing work.
+Chelsea Pickering did u watch the movie? after they applauder the contemp teacher said she is a dancer. then the ballet teacher said she not dancer, she gypsie
I have watch this movie many many times and do not get tired of watching it. Its such a joy to watch. All actors were phenomenal in this and the final scene was just too awesome for words. Music is so haunting. I just loved it so much.
this was somehow so motivating! i wanted to get up and make my dreams come true! go and learn the guitar without being afraid that i won't be good! i will do it. that was more than spectacular dance and music. he made fall for voillin.
Here I am in 2023 still amazed dance scene. It's like she danced through time through the magic of the music of this violin. Ian Eastwood came up to the violin and became the music notes. She became the violin.
I could watch and listen to this all day and still enjoy it. Beauty, rhythm, dancing, violin, uniqueness at its finest. I can feel the music the entire time I'm listening to it. BEAUTIFUL
2021 and just seeing this movie.(loved it!) The final dance scene left me speechless. The music and choreography are so perfectly executed and combined, that they present a whole separate story within the movie..simply beautiful.
I’ve watched this movie twice and I’d watch it over and over again🥰 it’s so beautiful and amazing and just ughh, this whole performance was and will forever be fye💯🔥
The dance was phenomenal but the way he played that violin was immaculate like you could feel it in yo soul ion give af what nobody say he played beyond his part and I love it❤❤
had this song on my phone for +4 years now never got tired of it my fav part 2:27 to 3:28 before i learned the violin i was amazed at his playing but when i started played end of 2019 his bow movements kinder felt weird and the sould the violin makes like is the an electric violin or guitar or something, but i am still in love with the song always makes my day to this day
Today is freaking 2023, it's feels like a decade since I watched this, I keep coming back in this scene, and I came to the part where I almost memorize every single notes in this scene.. gooddamn
Robert Medina Yes, and he's terrible at it. I get that he's not a real violinist, but he's not even holding the violin properly. When i watch this scene i just CAN'T look at him, he ruins everything. And it's a pity, because it's such a beautiful song and dance performance.
Clara-Grace Arctander you know when it was a close up of the hand doing vibrato I think it's probably cause the actor couldn't so they just used a random hand
Well he is an actor and had to learn to play violin for a movie that had a deadline. So, of course he won't be a professional and be able to do everything yet because he didnt have enough time.
Watching this 4 years later in 2021 and not only is the dancing and the music absolutely ASTOUNDING but honestly.. I want to applaud the technical theater crew in this scene for having literally everything ready. As a former student of technical theater.. having the lighting be correct is very difficult
