Join me as I push the limits of sea fishing by trying drone fishing at Selsey beach with a DJI Mavic 2 Air. With this new setup, I flew bait out over 200 meters and fished with a traditional rod at the same time. Will my drone fishing strategy work?
Watch as I put my DJI Mavic 2 Air to the test and capture stunning footage of Church Norton beach along the way. Although it might be too early for summer species, I'm hoping to land a black bream or smooth hound. Get ready for an epic sea fishing adventure with a high-tech twist

Got to have you blanks to really enjoy the catching days. Just something we all have to go through. Bit like the lottery really just takes a bit longer.but much better .

Hi paul you ok mate. Some nice drone footage , lts great lets us the viewer getter a better sense of surroundings. Shame you blanked keep plugging away mate your luck will change. I spoke last week to you its been slow for me . Ive managed a flounder n small codling both to save the blank and they both came on last casts. All the best matey from grimsby.

Hi Carl starting to feel a bit of an idiot but I know I can catch fish never known anything like it 😂😂 although it is fairly tough down here on some of the south coast beaches. Those in the know are telling me we are in between winter species leaving and summer species arriving. Am not going to let it beat me and out again next Friday but at least am getting some drone practice cheers for watching and the support much appreciated from down south. Big up Grimsby 👍👍👍😀

I thought I was in the Amazon at the start of this video, then you prove that you still haven't learnt to cast 200 yds without the aid of the drone :-) I have never fished that beach, alway fished nearer the point of Selsey but it does look a comfy spot, sadly not for the fish! Yet to get fly bashing, this week got overtaken by events but rest assured when I do get out I'll let you know how I get on. Tight lines aye!

Hi Richard as ever thanks for making me last and yes need some casting lessons 😂😂bit of a walk to get to the beach and always more sheltered in a westerly. I generally fish either the east beach in Selsey or at the life boat station. Can often be very weedy which can be a pain. Possibly too early for summer species, that’s my excuse🥶 be interested to hear how you get on fly chucking and hope you get out soon cheers Paul

Paul, lovely video thank you. Sorry but its kind of reassuring that you still haven't taken a step above my level. Catching is apparently all about bait handling and pheromones. Stop drinking that filtered lager stuff, get on a good old pint of bitter or scrumpy, excrete more and you will catch for sure! (Good tag line that). Take care man.

Hi fellow, made me and my wife lol and she nearly wet herself and love the tag line suggestion. Getting a bit tedious not catching but there is always next time and plan is next Friday. Haven’t decided venue but Ross doesn’t want to walk as far nearly killed him 😂 had fresh peeler full of pheromones but as you said probably done for with all that clean living, freshly filtered, made with Icelandic stream water lager 😀😀 rather than cloudy cider with dead rats in it and yeasty brown stuff😂cheers for watching and the ace comments much appreciated Paul 👍

Thanks John for watching and taking the time to comment with really nice feedback. Taken forever to crack the aerial shots to get them smooth and not all jerky. The bird sounds are recorded separately at the location and then added. 18 minutes of film once all the clips are taken takes me 10 hours to edit but love doing it and makes all worthwhile that people like you appreciate it and comment. Am off to Pevensey bay this Friday and hope to catch a fish 🤞🤞🤞cheers Paul

Well at least it was a nice day, drone bait dropping is just cheating and lazy 😂 😂 I managed a couple of hrs last night and only caught one whiting 🙄. All the best Paul, better luck next time 🎣👍

Hi John I think you are right as have been fishing today at Shoreham walked well away from people but still had paddle boards dragging my lines and swimmers in front of me and even if I did not catch at night at least I would have peace 👍👍👍

@@SeaFishingWithPaul Hi Paul, Lol, peace as well, unless I am fishing for plaice I don't bother fishing in bright sunny conditions, join the swimmers and paddle boarders when conditions are like this and fish at night is the way to go I think.
