Hi, I have not seen the complete video still but I wish to comment. You're awesome! You inspire me more than anything else.. I do own a smart tiny home in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, INDIA. The only difference is that I made it by using old waste things and added smart features using a lot of Alexas and Google Homes. A lot of people come and see it. But I don't make any videos of it or take any photos. I just enjoy it! Getting inspired by you to make the videos now on. Thanks. You rock!

This is a great video.... I love the concept of small space living and using technology to pull it all together. My house is also modest and I have embraced many of the features you show - Sonos, Alexa, Hue, Hive heating and Harmony but I haven't worked as hard on timing scenes and zones and realise that I must try harder :-) Thanks for the virtual kick up the bottom :-)

I liked your video. I am planning to convert my home to smart house for the deaf. I know I can't use Google or Echo to speak since I am profoundly deaf. All I can think of using a tablet that stands on end table with programmed touch buttons for each function. Can use my iPhone or iPad too

Apple TV only has a few HomeKit apps, but it is possible. Your best bet would be, as you say, to utilize an iPhone or iPad. There is also the upcoming HomeKit-compatible Flic button, which will provide a physical button to control HomeKit devices and/or scenes - appleinsider.com/articles/17/06/21/homekit-compatibility-coming-to-flic-hub-home-automation-physical-control-system

I wonder if the electricity saved by auto dimming the lights during the day, is lost due to all the extra sensors continually monitoring everything. It actually seems like electricity costs what actually go up with all of these systems.

Smarter Home Life would have to say tho, I'm surprised you don't use automated floating walls to increase spaces of rooms to make it feel bigger. but I can understand if it's a pre-built house and you don't want to knock down walls.

It's a good idea in concept, but in a very tiny space like this it would probably be impractical. And yes, walls can't be knocked down at this location as it is indeed already built. Floating, or perhaps movable walls would have to take into account electrical supply systems, lighting that is preset for artwork, furniture and such.

Yes indeed! It's the Philips Hue Go light. Battery-operated, so it only lasts a few hours before needing a recharge, but it provides a cool effect! amzn.to/2ryozdP
