These types of car wash equipment been around since the 60's. Shermin Super Sonic Equipment, California Car Wash equipment all produced good quality stuff. Many dont understand that with the soap and water, theses brushes do a GREAT job. Love the shaker curtains in the wash and rinse cycle. Not sure how well the blowers did their job, seems like a couple more blowers would have made for a dryer vehicle at the end. In full service car washes, the detail people or what we used to call Kiss Off, would touch up, dry and do the finish on windows and make sure vehicles are clean and clean up any trouble spots
@ender man He can do whatever he wants! Wipers actually clean themselves from soap if you turn them on? But not when there are mitters or top brushes since the material can get stuck!
The KosH Plays Automatic car washes do not “destroy the paint” the brushes are made of a closed cell material which cannot retain dirt. Also the brushes are rinsed in conjunction with the wash making it almost impossible to scratch the car.
This isn't 1975 anymore. You do way more damage to your paint by hand washing. The science supports that. But, fool yourself into believing whatever you like. Just remember that ignorance isn't valid. Facts are.
