Hay!!!!! You don't have time to be watching videos!!!!! I'm over here impatiently waiting on your next one.... I live in michigan and still haven't gotten a chance to run into you on the beach lol who knows maybe next spring. I definitely could use some pointers.
@@FlourgoldWizards and we watch you and other flour/mustard gold miners for the same reason :) flood gold is a tricky elusive mistress, nice to see how to catch it!
I started watching your videos and a few other guys on the nsr and now i’m hooked!! Bought a monster high banker from mark at gold stream plaser supply and just started this year..its a long haul from calgary area but its a perfect hobby for me and my family..thanks kyle and good luck down under!!🤞
The Woldrige comes with a clear vinyl and canvas snap on enclosure, but being the rugged individual that I am I just put a pad and bag on the floor, it’s fairly wide, and has the outboard jet engine so plenty of room on floor.
That's a nice boat! Would be so cool to setup a heater and sleep right on the boat some nights... I'll do more on tenting out at the river in the future. Have a hot tent boating video coming out in a bit.
Every Thursday in Australia Now for video?😂😂😂 The final zero in? . You are right to economize every move . Anymore than 3 steps and you are using more energy to get the same gold . A good tradesmen does that. Waste no moves .Then the young broncs wonder how the older guys get so much work done. Three stepping you can also get into a cadence. Great video Great machine
I'm upside down right now and apparently confused my time zones. I had meant for this to remain a 5pm Thursday video on Alberta time... Hopefully the algorithm isn't too confused :)
your already eating like Tassieboy Levi..haha. ok. the lightbulb moment for me from about 14:05 on. One mans surface muck is another mans sluice box....or in this case false bedrock, with catch and hold capacity. At 18:17 you said 10"s, I thought is was 12? if so whats your gmp now? I think ive been to busy and need to go back and digest because i feel like i missed something? I'm glad to see you moving your box more and walking or bucketing less. moss is very forgiving :) Your cammera man...he's actually been recent favorite small Alberta gold mining channel, as he does such good procduction and its'been nice to watch him finally get rewarded. Like his stuff alot and glad to see you'r mining buddies. was a great video, thanks for shairing, and golden oportunities ahead' . cheers
I went with 10" sluices instead of 8" that flares out to 12". So still the same surface area, just straight sides. Water flow rate is about 34gpm for the full 20" sluice. The same old 20gpm per foot sluice width as per pop'n'son.
Awesome video ol buddy thank you for sharing 👌 Looking and waiting patiently To order your high banker just wondering for release date for i can order one ?
I'm just waiting on the mats to arrive for a production run of 6. I'll post them to my website once they are ready to ship and keep you updated. It's a good machine for where the gravel is loose and easy to dig, then you can really take advantage of the 20" width. Price is looking like $1969cad or ~$1450usd and includes mats, spraybar, and a short section of flex hose.
Not sure what a pour fee is, my placer gold is severely carbon coated and want it to look like the pretty stuff I just watched you make lol. I would be happy if it were button. Thanks for replying and for your video content ..
I have finalized the design in more recent videos. This highbanker runs well at 34GPM or 2000GPH. But if I was running it on a bilge pump, I would run a more powerful pump to make up for line losses and losses due to lift. Maybe give a 3700GPH pump a try? The price is $1969 Canadian dollars (about $1475 USD at this time) and these are available now from www.UtmostOutdoors.com
Nope. Even if you could, it would have to be a custom machine designed for this fine flat gold. Alberta regulations limit you to a hand shovel in operation like this.
@@goldsluicetinkerer I went back and looked and came to the conclusion that his last upload “First gold of the second last trip” video was perhaps part 1? No matter what, you have to hand it to Kyle with his ingenuity, creative mind and execution of his high banker. I still have plans to convince you to build me a trommel like Your’s 😂
@@Aaron_Hanson If I Loved you , I would build you one , but I don't so I won't. But if you can convince me to change my mind to build you one then try. Yes , the previous tape was mentioned as a teaser for todays tape.
I made 6 for sale, but they all sold out in the first two months. I likely won't have any more ready for the 2024 mining season as I've moved to Australia, but hopefully the next year I'll do more.
I'm not supposed to discharge tailings directly back into the water, and I find it harder to dig shovels from under the water than when it's up on dry land. I did notice from just test panning that the pay streak went out about another 5 meters into the river, but then if you go even deeper it disappears. Out in the middle of this river there seems to be very little gold at this spot. I can't claim to understand it, but that's what I saw.
@@UtmostOutdoors A tailings pond is a good idea - I may incorporate one my next outing even though I am not obliged to. It's been well documented that the best gold is at the very bottom of the creek. Have you ever dug to bedrock or at least solid clay ?
I have tried digging down deeper in a few areas all with no good results. I even found some bedrock upstream a ways that was only 2 feet deep and found nothing on it. It's a strange river. I'm going to need to re-learn how to prospect here in Australia and start going deep!
NSR. flour gold is float gold it will be found in the top gravels and mud and can change big time when there is floods . I have seen at devons prospectors point one year as much as 8 ft of sand be deposited and in a few years it was all gone. like kyle I have never found good gold deeper down and never any big flake or nuggets on the NSR
OMG !! what would a person need to do to camp out and dig with you for two week trips?? SERIOUSLY??? I'll move so much material!!! I have a 4" dredge and a 2.5" combo unit and do not cone close to your rewards ... dang dude...
I think in this area, I'm able to shovel around the volume a 3" dredge could move. A 4" could easily double what I could shovel, but it would need to have a specialized fine gold sluice. Unfortunately, dredging is not allowed in Alberta.
