We removed high grade gold ore from high grade gold veins, crushed gold ore, oxidized gold bearing gravels and ran them through a highbanker using only gold owl matting to recover, the recovery is astounding!

i Built my highbanker out of an old bed frame a half sheet of aluminum and a little one inch square tubing. did the welding myself. whole thing cost me under a hundred dollars. the gold owl matting looks like it works wonders. gotta get that for the maiden voyage down at the creek. keep up the good work and keep making videos!!

I've been prospecting for a little over a year. The content and information you guys put out is nothing short of amazing to me. Watching experienced prospectors like you guys, Pauly, Dan Hurd and Vogus has greatly increased my knowledge of what to look for and over all success rate. I live a few miles south of you in Washington State (3 blocks from the border actually) and would love to make it up to B.C. sometime soon and test my skills locating some of beautiful B.C.'s cosmic metal!

Wow, That matting looks Amazing. it would work in my 4" Keene Dredge too?. I'm going to try it to find out. Like the way they attach to each other . Looks like you could speed up or slow down the flow of material across the riffles by the arrangement too? New to highbanker's. Do you level and set angle on sluice box like any other sluice. the upper angle on spraybar/ griz are fixed with their attachment to sluice? Nice setup, is it going to be raffled ? Just the Banker, I understand mailing a pump would be a hassle. I will be Bidding on that P.D. for sure. Put all that Sweet Gold right beside the Ore Samples in my Mineral Case. I was Lucky enough to buy back when they were available. Man Oh-- would I like to have some out of that Mine you were in recently. I have learned more about Geology and Prospecting from 911 Mining & Prospecting than any other on the Tube. I So have to Visit B.C. and the Island.. Amazing Country. Will sulfides drop out pretty well as much as gold? I only ask because it occurs to me that it might make a lot of sense to water separate ore from a zinc mine in this manner before getting too far along and maybe increase the efficiency of the process a little bit as opposed to just completely crushing everything into dust and floating it as a mixture. Was thinking maybe I could carry less material into the flotation separator if I can use gravity and water to slough it off to the side first, and then have less gangue to waste time and energy crushing, and cleaning out of the later stages. ~( 'w')/ Also, does native silver seem to pan out as easily as gold, or close to it?

I especially like how you can mix and match the mats using the connector tracks. Given your combined results, they seem to be the best thing out there. It would be interesting to try them at different flow rates and slope angles for the sluice. I'm often concerned that I'm losing gold that is larger than the riffles in my sluice and wonder if this matting is more efficient at catching that larger gold than conventional designs. Great video.

Great find by the way it looked. Couple things it looks like you didn't have a pan under the sluice when pulling mats or I didn't see one. Also rinse the empty sluice into the pan to clean it up so nothing left in it. Ben watching you guys a lot. Stuck in Ohio with just a bit of glacier deposit from your Homeland but have a small creek and creek sluice that I have to really work at to get a speck or two... Keep up the great video

There is gold everywhere in Michigan! Super fine. Grand River, Maple River, Flat River, Rouge River. Tamerack River, Little and Big Muskegon Rivers and Central Creek. Oh, and Stoney Creek just to name a few places. The shores of Lake Superior is also real good.

They come in 3 foot lengths when you get them they are cuttable to any width

a suggestion; when you are pouring cons into your pan, try pouring more water to the side of what is left in your bucket. then more cons will go into the pan. better yet, splash water into the bucket with a scoop to the back while holding the bucket so it drains into your pan. great gold, looks like you had a fun time!

I love your guys videos but I noticed something on that test. I don't think there was enough material ran through the mats to prove any exchange like you would need in the real world. Lol I love that you were feeding the high banker with a cons scoop too 😜. You definitely proved on low volume that those mats do a good job of recovery though. Keep up the great work guys, I really like your videos. Not gonna lie I have been super jealous of some of your finds on your Creek videos.

I know a place where the brook that comes off of the reservoir Kearns and iron ore Rusty color and smells like eggs the whole pork turns orange the rocks and everything. Would that be a good place to look?

I’m lucky that i have loads of water of my claim and use a sluice only (Keene a52s) but would love to convert to a high banker also. I also dredge with a 6 inch Keene which makes life simply :)

When panning or high banking in soils that are thick with clay, what works better -soaking the clay to loosen it up and agitate it with a hand-held stucco mixer or do you crank up the water flow through the jets to blast the heavies from the clay matrix? Also, where I live the River that runs through here to the ocean is lined with concrete to keep it from jumping the banks and wiping out half the city. But up at its headwaters there is a decent amount of gold. i want to find something that will sit flat on the concrete and hold tight like a limpet so i don't have to hammer-drill anchor bolts for it while it does what the first screen in a high banker does, and trap the goods back in it's tail.
