Looks tempting but doesn't seem suitable for direct die unfortunately. I need the NZXT plastic spacers to offload the mounting pressure to reduce chance of cracking the dies lol.

And why exactly should the thernal grizzly adapter do anything at all ?

Did it have any affect on temperatures?

It's not about temperature with PBO, it's about clocks. PBO will keep pushing clocks to the max boost frequency until PTTL is reached. Thus max temperature won't change, but clocks will. All big RU-vid tech channels get this wrong, because they can't read. (referring to Linus Tech Tips etc.) PTTL = Platform Thermal Throttle Limit, which is 95°C by default on AM5
