What a stupid decision by the devs. Make trash room by cluttering the all stuff around the firepit instead automatically make bonfire radius aka the whole base the comfort interest.
Its really too bad there isn't something somewhere, like in your character screen, that showed the actual comfort total/needed to next level...so 556/1500 for example, showing you how much you need for the next comfort level. And a list of items counting towards comfort in that area. But great to know how it works!
I am disappointed by the comfort system since no matter the level (currently at 6) buff stays at measly 30min which is way too short. Hoping they change it that each level up raises buff time.
Nice Vid, how much space did that all take, 10x10, more, less? What are people's preferences on core building dimensions? Trying to get an idea on the average ground floor size of you will. Thanks all in advance!
Does the comfort items need to be placed under the same roof an close to the bonfire ? Or can it be placed anywhere within the bonfire building radius for the comfort items to count towards the total comfort level. I have most of these items within the bonfire building radius but cant get higher than comfort level 3.
Thanks so much for this video, I had no idea all the comfort stuff had to be around the bonfire and was wondering what I had to do to get a higher comfort area. It's a bummer though, because not one of my bases has a centralized bonfire where all the comfort stuff is, and I suspect I am not the only one based on the build guides I have seen on youtube. Going forward I know my builds will have to be different, but ugh, I don't really want to remodel all of my bases. :( Great video once again with very clear information. Thanks! Oh yeah, do you know if the radius of the bonfire is just on one level, or does it go up and down too? (so if I had a bonfire and build above and below, would the items still count as within the bonfire radius?)
This was very helpful. Thank you. We were struggling to figure out how the comfort thing worked. Best tip is knowing that the type of building doesn't affect it!
So I'm going to have to wait for the vid till after work, but I assure you I will be thinking of the six fingered lady in teaser card on the way there.
great vid wak, bonus % body experience means your tribesmen will level up faster when working in benches? i have some very good low level tribesmen i do no not want to get rid of, but everytime i rebuild them because of dying it is a pain to level up them again. ty for these guides
i got an aggravating problem i can only get level 6 in one spot but if i move left or right or go downstairs it goes down to 4 then if i go to one side of the house it does down to 1 lol its so damn frustrating
"best possible fuel" for a bonfire is charcoal. Easy to make, often gets made in large quantities simply to level up tribesmen. Why would you use something like coal instead of saving it for blast furnace?
I usually load the last 3 spots in the bonfire with coal the timer is so much higher with coal it’s worth the 900 coal to save your base. But as a general rule yes charcoal is cheap and has a great timer and I have my tribesman load that in the first spots.
Hunting score is increased by killing animals. Every time you kill something make sure you save it by holding the e button and click save data. The harder the animal, the more hunting level you get.
You can get more tech points from reading the ancient tablets. Here is a playslist with the locations for them. ru-vid.com/group/PLL047t_yLK7t0TmrKW2WVCc38o1wW8Hxn
@@wak4863 I have been reading the ancient tablets but there only a point a piece you need 3 or 4 once you get to steel and I'm up to 50 awareness so progression is very slow. I do love your videos as there direct and to the point.
@@tylerfountain1286 The good thing with the recipes is you have to learn this once, craft it then you can reset your Tech points and use them for other key stuff you need. The crafted but unlearned furniture pieces still remain in your base to use.
@@matyasmarton5482 Also, as you move ages you can save tech points on tools and weapons. I'm late in bronze, I don't need to know how to make stone tools any longer.
@@matyasmarton5482 some of the higher recipes require some lower ones as a prerequisite which eats into the tech-points. It should work for some things though.
I don’t like the animal heads. It takes so much space especially the bosses. I also rather have water and snowy mountain for base view. Very poor game design to force so much clutter
