USA is a shithole! I wonder why some people think USA is a big deal when it is worse than a third world country! Compared to a developed country like Australia, USA is absolutely useless! Australia looks after its citizens with great systems like Centrelink (dole system), free medical (Medicare), free education, infrastructure, gun laws etc. No wonder many people want to migrate to Australia. No wonder Australian cities like Melbourne was chosen to be the most liveable city in the world 7 years in a row.

Thats very low. Thats about 41k aud. The lowest I have heard off here was with a non govt organisation. it was about 50k starting.

A bachelors is not going to pay what a masters degree will....

I feel you...but Might I suggest you change JOBS not change career? Afterall I presume you became a social worker for a reason and are much needed out here.

Social Workers in USA do not make as much, the average pay is 40k a year. I am from the US considering getting a job somewhere else.

Wang Yan havent had trouble finding work. Can be hard if u have no experience though. Starting pay varies from place to place. It can start anywhere from 45000aud to about 65000aud per year x

Wang Yan youth support work, disability support work etc can be a good place to start x
