India is not growing..... while the USA in 2023 still India is in 1950s labs and bio industry is only 250-300 in India while USA bio industry's are 2500-3000 ....like 10 Times more and Faster than india....
India is always been poor in salary ratio, that is why still under development, people move out for biotechnology like me for more exposure and salary , 8.5 lac is nothing as per role and work😂
Sir I am 12th grader I want to pursue biotech in bsc and MSC as well but some people are saying that it does not has any scope in India. Mat I please know if I should opt for this course or should I do bsc in bio chemistry? I don't have anyone to guide me please help me out Thank you sir!
@@urvii.diaryy see there are many myths about biotechnology because it's mixture of every science subject and you will get a choice to select one subject for future career and i would suggest you to do it but not in India go UK for it because there are 200+ Biotech companies and ready to give you 23 lakh/year. Indians don't give you more salary even my friends are working in Bharat biotech still not getting enough salary.
@@ravindrabhalerao6947 sir I don't think my family would allow me to go and study abroad and also I don't think that's affordable for my family. So Is there any other course other then biotech I can opt which has good career options in India. Like biochemistry or any other?
@@urvii.diaryy you can go for Medical laboratory science or Diploma in paramedical science, it will give you quick apportunities to earn money and job ratio is good in India. I had done my BSc Biotechnology and PG Diploma in Medical laboratory science and now doing MSc in Medical biotechnology in UK at ESSEX university Colchester
There’s nothing for biotechnology students I had done masters then also I m working in an pharma companies so if you are doing biotech then there are better opportunities outside India
right now I am doing bcs ( hons.) zoology, and I am thinking of doing masters in biotechnology.. and now I am confused what to do... can you please tell me whether doing masters in biotechnology is right option or not please
@@helloworld2054 you are totally wrong, you just missed a chance that you had lot of on your path by changing field, upcoming future is depend on reaserch not on computers
Sirf dukh hi dukh ho rha h itni kam salary sunke. Mere father sirf stocks se 1 lakh kama lete h month ka. Woh bhi secondary source of income h. Mujhe research aur scientific studies me bahut interest tha aur h, and medical me interest nhi h isiliye neet bhi nhi diya. But itni low average salary sunke hosh ud gaye h. Ye jobs obviously sabse costly living waali cities me h. How is it going to be possible to survive living in them if you are a biotech graduate, and earn this less. Even the highest salary is barely around 30lpa. That's too low. Way too low. My mind's messed up looking at all these hard facts. I have such dear love for science. If you know about some alumnis, examples who are earning a handsome salary in this field. Please provide some information:(
I have completed my post graduation last year and continuously seeking job but no one hired now i got fully disappointed and cursing why should i chose this field.
Mam i am in trap of confusion Whether i should go with this bsc biotechnology course or not..?? Because there were a lot of videos on internet who've saying that there is not any placements in indiaa!!! Pls mam help me for choosing this 🙏 😭 😢
Don't fall directly into companies you will be exploited for less salary try to persue research and phd do jrf and srf and try to gain sponsored projects from government then you will be earning more because of your knowledge and experience and you can even start your own business and even go into academic
Mam iam completed BSC medical laboratory technology now what can I do sir PG courses in India or can I study msc biotechnology or mtech please tell your suggestion mam
Yes. That's what you get after completing masters. U can earn more if you have PhD and/or post doc(from a good university or even better if from a foreign country). Biotech jobs require research experience.
Every company is the worst in giving salary, they need employees to work and do not want to pay. They make us work so much but don’t pay us even half of it, at least they should pay us as much as we paid for our semester fees per year.
If you want to earn a lot of money, escape from Biotech now itself or go abroad for higher studies and get a job there. It is worst in India. It will be suitable only for dad's little princess and house wives who come to work for pocket money.
@@urvii.diaryy i think the scope is better in future but today this branch is new for us and also the salary in this field is less 20000 per months but if you have experience upto15 yrs them it get increased upto 1lakh per month that s why iam out from this hope it will increase in future
