I'M A CARER, IM ON $9.67AN HOUR, FOR 24HRS A DAY AND THROUGH THE NIGHT SOMETIMES . A COUPLE OF WEEKS AGO I STARTED AT 7.30A.M, AND FINISHED 1,15AM THE NEXT MORNING, 18 HOURS AND OTHERS DO 8HRS OR THE GOOD OLD PATHETIC 3HRS. WHAT A BLUDGE. YES THE ELDERLY SURE NEED LOOKING AFTER AND CARED FOR. I GIVE MY MOTHER WHO IS 90 YEARS THE BEST OF EVERYTHING, THEY WORKED FOR IT AND THERE MORE THAN DESERVE IT. US NURSES AND CARERS GET LOOKED DOWN ON AND NOT WORTH THE SHIT YA PUT WITH, ESPECIALLY FROM OTHER FAMILY ARSEHOLES.

Because these are essential jobs where we need alot of workers IT is a job where we need fewer people with higher skills, and is a risk based industry looking for the next innovation. It changes the world and allows these people to work in the hospitals they do.... 1 IT person can replace a bunch of humans in other jobs... etc etc Not every job should get paid the same... tough luck
Tbh it’s kinda insane to hear health workers get paid less then construction workers. I worked non union , average 42 hour weeks for the most part and made 119k this year in QLD , and I’m retarded tbh. Healthcare should be a minimum of 100k.
Pay rates crazy for ndis. Occupational therapisists get close to 200/ hour....more after July 1. Double more than O/T's working for hospitals. Short term accommodation providers get paid 2 to 3k per day. Ndis is a joke
@@Adrian-zg6uythe take home pay for an NDIS OT will be roughly the same as Health or other sectors. The NDIS rate is to cover all running costs for an organisation who need an office, cars, a management team, insurance, exorbitant admin and processing time, payroll tax, super. If you can be a sole trader practitioner in the NDIS then you will be better off but still by the time you fa Tor in all the above, such as admin etc you aren’t making close to $200 ph. Employers who are savvy may make a 3% profit off a practitioner who bills 28 hours per week. So your statement is quite misguided.

She is obviously completely unqualified, or is a trainee of some kind. That wage is virtually unheard of outside of traineeships (like internships) in Australia. Minimum wage is at least $20

As a junior doctor with 7 years experience and the only one on for the department afterhours I would make $150k with weekends and nights. Made more in my old career.
