The european version features a extended dialogue between Katana and his henchmen, more closer to the original script. Taken from the 'Extended Zeist Edition'.
No idea why they cut this scene shorter in the US theatrical version, it gives a better justification as to why General Katana sends his henchmen after Connor.
@@tiiito1988 Yeah, it feels like the bonding company took a chainsaw to the movie and butchered it for the US release. It's a good thing that Nigel Green, along with Panzer and David were able to finance further editing for the UK cut which laid the way for a better version.
I wish there was more BTS info on costume design and world-building. Like, what were they going for with the henchmen? Were they mutant Zeistians or another race entirely?
@@tiiito1988 Just looked them up, and holy cow the movie would have looked awesome if the budget had matched the artistic talent of the artists. I also read the original screenplay and apparently there was supposed to be a third "clone"
