Sorry stabby, love your vids, but this video is suspicious. Real highlander teams don't play harvest, and in the barn blitz clips, it wasn't the pro version. Maybe I'm just a moron, but I think those are 2 reasons this isnt official highlander.
Well idk about the harvest thing , but for barnblitz , there was the Grey counter thing to the top , for most highlander matches I saw , it was there but I'm not sure

To everyone asking about the backstab animation and why it's not there, it's because the regular backstab animation is the critical hit animation and on highlander crits are disabled.
I've watched this four or five times and I always get a new tip to take away from it. As a decent but not fantastic spy, advice like this is a gold mine for me. Thanks for putting these videos up! Your voice is amazing by the way... :)

YESH, new video of stabby. I loved the info you gave. I rarely use trickstabs on people with more than half a brain, unless it's really unpredictable, but from what I saw in this video is that the simple ones sometimes work too, even on smart players.
He should be confident. This guy is the best damn spy I've ever seen, and he'll probably hold that record for a loooong time. Not to mention his voice is awesome.
It's because, much like headshots, backstabs are a guaranteed crit. However, in competitive TF2, random crits are disabled, which for some reason disables crit animations. The backstab animation, as you've probably noticed if you've hit someone with a knife after winning a game (where all the winners have 100% crits), is the knfie's crit animation. Therefore, the backstab animation does not play when random crits are disabled.

Actually it is fun. It is a welcome change when there is a really good spy on the other team (or on your team for that matter) since it can change the pace of the game quite drastically
If I had to make a professional opinion on this, I'd say that stabby is a slightly better commentator than STAR. But you two are just too awesome for me to say who's better than the other. You're the best-the both of you!
And here I was thinking that I had learned what I needed to as spy and now have to work on the execution... I didn't know about the airborne uber target trick! Good stuff! Great vid, too.
Actually, you can send and uber flying if you're crouching and stab them, even if they're on the ground. Hope that's helpful, Stabby. You're always such a great Spy, I'd love to give you as many tools as possible!
As a matter of fact it is STAR, he used (and still does) to play for GG (Gangsta Gang Gaming) and he still does. He used to play pyro but switched to engineer.
This is B.S you deserve 3 times the popularity and subscribers I only recently subscribed and found your videos amazing it pisses me of to see people as popular as ijustine or Raywilliamjohnson when there's people like you out there who make insanely high quality videos. I honestly think the Cloak and Dagger is a good beginner's watch. as long as they arent using it to camp its important for a new player to use that infinite cloak to find good uncloak and spots to stab from. I used it when i first started out and it helped a lot. it made it easier to get into spy when i didnt have to worry about cloak till i knew the other elements and then i taught myself the cloak time aspect. I dont use it anymore but I am an above average spy usually top 3 in all games.
