Sometimes you have games where you're genuinely baffled over what you just experienced. This is one of them. Discord: / discord Stream: / flamuu Insta: / flamugram Twitter: / flamuchz
I miss Arms Race already. Even if there were games like this one, lmao. Twitter: twitter.com/flamuchz Discord: discord.gg/Flamu Stream: www.twitch.tv/flamuu Insta: instagram.com/flamugram/
I haven't played in a couple of years, but arms race makes me want to play again. I just learned it's limited-time. What are they thinking over at WG? In general, what are they thinking? This is the best new game mode I've seen since this game came out.
This might be my favorite flolo vid: the point where he has no more words and relies exclusively on facial expressions had me rolling. HD face cam is where its at these days
Imagine plotting your torps long ago and thinking youll get an easy kill on an agir, but nah a holland shoots late, while in hydro and just flys by your torps grabbing the kill
Had that happen quite often to me actually, Hallands always tend to torp the easy targets I picked out first, but their fast torps always catch the target first and they instictively angle right after they got hit just in time so all my torps miss. Shit like this really grinds my gears.
10:56 shows a prime example of god gaps. You either get all torps hitting as no one turns, or more likely youre the Shima and the gaps are big enough to fit a BB and miss entirely.
There are holland matches, then there are HOLLAND matches where BBs travel in straight lines, DDs stay broadside stationary to you in smoke and cruisers ignore the sonar bottom and travel in straight lines without changing speeds. Now I have to collect the rainbows from the unicorn barn.
I often find that people forget that their throttle has 5 settings. Like, you don't need to be running around at full speed all the time. If you're in a good spot, there's no point in staying full speed if you're just gonna leave it
The thunking man's action game, you use your head to thunk a lot. Also just to defend Agir's actions... he thunk he was playing pokemon, so gotta catch'em all.
as i said on the forums, the reason they made that "World of Warships, the beautiful game" thing is because calling it the "thinking man's game" nowadays would be false advertising
Didnt feel Quite as stupid to me either, from what i remember they maybe have 10-15 second for the Torpedos to Cross from Edge of hydrorange to their ship. They cant Even Start fully Turning
Hi Flamu, question, are you interested in EarlGrey's effort in creating the better naval war game? - sorry, "just" watching you on YT, so would like a response here please. :)
It just figures that this game ended in a detonation for you. Everyone's favorite mechanic in a game that shows just how skilled most of the player base is.
And this is why I uninstalled this game. Not to even MENTION fucking CARRIERS. God bless you flolo for managing to play this shit game still. Damn is it a visually stunning one but GOD the gameplay is shit.
To be fair, this game is so hard for beginner and people grind 1 line like crazy, so at their first T10 with 200-ish battle they are still stupid in terms of game mechanics
As a beginner you will not reach T10 in 200 games. You are just not good enough to get reasonable XP, and you lack camo/flag bonuses. But even if you can, 200 games in a single line and looking at other lines what they can do should be enough to be ok if you picked a good line. Like US/IJN BBs or german cruisers and so on. (Lines like german BBs or IJN DDs can teach some really bad habits.) Not a great player, but at least you should have an understanding what you should do. But that is besides the point. Awful players are usually not the beginners. They are the 15000+ game ones that refuse to learn the game they have sunk thousands of hours in.
@@yhormthemidget You never meet Asian player then... Dedicated 1 line with Premium time, If you get 2500 exp per game for 200 game, you can get 500k which is around T9 and almost get T10. And for technicality if it is 250 games for 2500 exp, it will be 625.000 exp With FXP that you get alokg the way, I think you can get T10 ship in 200-ish battle. Despite red stats
@@Dominus_Potatus that is not a beginner. That is an idiot veteran who still can not play the game. A beginner will never get 2.5k xp not even with premium time. Not without dragon flags. I remember when I was a beginner I had around 150 games in Iowa alone. And I was BAD. After that around 100 in Roon, and I was pretty ok by than.
@@Dominus_Potatus I got to Bismarck, Nagato and NC within a couple of hours. So I agree with you. I had already been watching Flamuu and Flambass at the time though. This was back when you got flags for achievements, I'd Imagine it'd take a little longer now. All you gotta do is shoot ships a tier higher than you, reset the dds and you end up 2000-2500 xp top of the leaderboard. Cruisers were a harder grind for me.
@@yhormthemidget 2.5k exp.. not base exp, you only need to get around 1000 - 1200 base exp. With premium time + economic flag 2500 exp is easy. If you combine it with special flag, it can get at least 5000 exp plus good amount of FXP. I was grinding Khaba line from T5 in 2 days... like playing normally (around 4h in a day) in the weekend with all flags.
If all the streamers ever do is dunk on players and shake their head, instead of being constructive and posting how-to-get-better videos, the game won't improve. /shrug
In real life we all are born with different advantages and disadvantages. Why would you expect different from the game? Maybe instead of talking down on others and multiplying toxicity we need to focus on own performance and achievements. I mostly enjoy your videos but this is starting to look like elitist club where everyone circlejerks each other's ego.
Let's face it, most people with an IQ above 110 have understood that video games are a waste of time in general, the percentage of those who are moderately smart but whos life is so shit that they play anyways isn't quite low but still small compared to the mass of the player base. Apart from that Flamu might understand that even the smartest guy can't develop his skill level if he's doing this once a month.
