England sealed a 2-0 series victory over Argentina after winning another enthralling Test against Argentina in Sante Fe on 17 June.
England had a five-point lead at the break with tries from Charlie Ewels and Piers Francis as well as eight points from George Ford.
Argentina crossed through Joaquin Tuculet in between those England tries while Nicolas Sanchez also kicked two penalties and a conversion.
The game was level on the hour after Argentinean tries from Pablo Matera and Emiliano Boffelli, while Danny Care crossed for England.
A converted try from Will Collier and a further drop goal from Ford took the final score to 35-25.

Jordan Cox if he made the tackle he wouldn't be there to set up the counter attack which is his job.... 10s aren't there for their defensive ability

The counter attack was not expected but lucky - If the ball had not been lost, his lack of commitment would have meant a 2 on 1 against Mike Brown! Jonny's shoulder would have been in there with a bit of heart (and power!) ;) I'm not taking anything away from England or the amazing performance and like I said, I do like Ford and his game awareness, but if he's 10 when we play NZ - that channel is going to get destroyed!!!

Hi will be Jordan, as George playing 10 is the only way we're going to spark our attack enough to beat NZ. That was one tackle in the game, he made plenty at other moments, against big wingers, and he was fine in the 6N's too.

Based on that performance, England are nowhere near the ABs. They were predictable in attack. Slade looked out of his depth, too. The only reason England won was because the referee gifted them some ridiculous decisions, and the Argies missed most of their penalty kicks. The game was disappointing to watch.

Thought so! But yes, I do agree with you about Saturday's game - it was really disappointing. After about 15 minutes I realised that England hadn't done anything worth getting excited about and it didn't really get much better after that.

RickTransit. It was disappointing alright. However, I suppose playing badly and still winning is the mark of a good side. I'm really looking forward to Saturday. Aussie are solid at the moment...it will be a good measuring stick of where England are at.
