I'm also a Steelers fan and as good as Pickens has been playing, I'm sorry as someone who watches all the games. He isn't ready to be a number 1, he doesn't Garner attention to be guarded ALL GAME by the opposing best Corner, at his current stage in development he needs to feast off the opportunities that he will have night in and night out of no double teams and going against the number 2's. Because I'm sorry say what you want about diontae but he is an actual pro-bowler and should have been 1 as well I believe in 2019 his numbers were very comparable to the best that year. He gets consistent separation on all levels he just needs to focus alot more of the point of catching the ball. He is clearly our number 1 and teams prove that by their defensive schemes and Pickens needs to continue to develop until he becomes a 1 as well and then we have 2
