Just need him to ball for this year. Mavs didn't give up much so getting to a finals is worth it. And if you don't think Luka can have Kyrie and make the finals you crazy. Luka made the WCF by himself and took clippers to 7 by himself when they were title favorites
@@ianbutler9488 y'all Mavericks fans are ungrateful. You guys got a 1 year rental for Kyrie in exchange for 2 role players and 3 draft picks. Kyrie is an ex NBA champion who was one of the most elite offensive players in the league. Mavs weren't going to resign Dorian and Spencer was most likely going to opt out during free agency, considering they got Tim Hardaway playing.
And with attitude like that. Kyrie will never want to play for fans who are ungrateful. Just be happy that you got a good player, and be happy that you finally got someone for Luka. Now they're are no excuses. Everyone already wants to put Luka in the GOAT convo when he doesn't even have a ring yet. We will see if he is able to elevate his teammates to the finals like Lebron did.
@@ianbutler9488 Well, nothing says ‘I don’t give a F-‘ like playing the first scrimmage in sweatpants and walking on the court. Welcome to the team, Kyrie!
If you know and understand basketball at the root level not just the surface. It’s hard to disagree that this guy especially at his size or just any size in general is one to the TOP 5 greatest TALENTS to ever touch a basketball and play in the NBA. He can score at all 3 levels, dribble, pass well, elite footwork, creativity, finishing ability. Just special man smh
@@ahkenaten522 he still is really athletic in terms of his change in direction and how low he gets. Obviously ur right he isn’t athletic compared to Mitchell, Dame, Rose, Westbrook, Morant, etc, but he still like really mobile
@@torneyes Have you ever considered that the reason blks commit so much crime is because you only think of money and getting it at all costs--and care nothing about character, integrity and morality?
At first I was worried, but now, I'm excited. Luka does what it takes to win, so he'll do what he needs to do to gel with Kyrie. Should make this year interesting at the least..
I’m salty about this man. Really wanted him to bring the chip home to BK. But at the end of the day we all do what’s best for us. The Nets didn’t value this guy like they should have. They tried to make an example out of him and it backfired on them. Not saying they didn’t get anything in return, we got back dinwiddie and a great defender in smith. However, they aren’t Kyrie idc what anybody says. When he is on his game he is top 3 guards in the A and one of the most entertaining players to watch of all time
I love how finally people have common sense in the comments section now everybody's not justifying his actions and actually done making excuses trying to hold him accountable like we know he can ball but hes not reliable
For me Kyrie is the best PG behind Steph for several years now (i guess Luka, Ja and these young guns are getting there). I would always take him over Dame or CP3 or whoever it was before, like Wall and IT a few years back. But he clearly has some issues outside of the court. Whatever that may be, its affecting his availability, and asking out of 3 winning teams speaks volumes. Noone doubts this mans game, he has been that man for years, but what good is it all if hes sitting half the season and switching teams every other year.
I still can't believe this, Kobe's Student + Favorite player both on the same team. Dallas got lucky with this one, and I hope they give him a max 4 yr/200m and lock him in. Now is the best time to do it because the warriors are getting old, Lebron is pretty much done too. Luka + Kyrie for the next 3-4 years would be how to win.
Looking at Kyrie, he looks like a regular average guy! The fact that he can do what he does, looking the way he looks, a short skinny dude, by NBA standards, it's pretty amazing that he can do what he does on the court! It's unbelievable!!
@@theanimerapper6351 ok but in the totality of the nba outside of just that position the average is 6'6 so him and all the other undersized players who can ball out like this are special
Idu how are you a bad teammate but KD and Bron are fighting to get you on there team? This is a huge W for Luka and the Mavs. Kyrie haters will be watching every move he makes on and off the court replaying every big play he makes on the court smh.
Luka and Kyrie can find their own openings and shoot from anywhere. Offensively they will generate a lot of points. Defense is going to be shouldered by Luka and Christian
Kyrie is a tournament player.... He's not cut out for an 82 game regular season... He gets bored..... Kyrie is made for when it gets REALLY intense...... Truth be told, kyire is a 6th man type player.... Bring him in to do HIS thing.... he's not a "Team" guy.... This isn't a diss btw, this is just pointing out that he's a lone ranger introvert type guy in a team sport.... that's tough
