I still love that scene in P5 where Sae out of nowhere says "You're eating away at my life" to Makoto. It's so out of character and mean, it's like for just those scenes they really wanted to emphasize that Makoto is a burden to Sae, but it just comes off like Sae hates Makoto lol
Hey Joe, I know you're still lying to yourself about being a closet weeb when you're just an actual weeb, but holding off on that Persona 5 compilation by commissioning other high quality compilations can't save you forever.
Maybe because there's soooooooo much gold inside the P5 streams. I watched them all, and i must say, it's a time investment JUST to see it through, imagine making a relatively condensed highlight. Worth every second of it, though
25:32 this is why I love Joe's streams. You can tell he wants his reactions to be genuine. He never overplays the way he's feeling in an effort to be more entertaining, unlike so many other streamers. So when you hear this level of excitement in his voice, you know it's real, and he really is losing his mind. I've never even played this game, and I still can't help but grin like an idiot every time I see this clip. Great stuff Joe, really appreciate you.
I think Joe is a really entertaining streamer but all the references will confuse new viewers. I've watched most of his streams so I understand the majority of them, i think it will stop him from growing his stream. Maybe that's what he wants though, a tight community with a lot of inside jokes.
Your reaction to the blades of chaos was like exactly the same to mine, even having that moment spoiled for me from a RU-vid thumbnail, the entire build up and the moment he uncovers them with the score, utterly incredible
These edits are magnificent. Love your work Joe, as always. I'm so used to your monotonous analysis voice that when you laugh it surprises me but yet brings me joy at the same time. Keep this up ay :)
25:28 pretty much everyone's reaction the first time using the blades. I'm so glad I played 3 before the reboot, this moment wouldn't have been nearly as impactful otherwise.
"Idunn" is pronounced in a way that makes it sound very simmiliar to "eden". it is also almost pronounced as if it was spelled "edoon" just with the oo sounding more like the name of the letter "u".
@ 27:11 "I wonder if the blades of Chaos would of made the Valkyrie easier?" I let out an audible "Probably not" just after that he said "Probably not" Holy shit. I've not laughed that hard for a while. Thanks for the Highlights.
One of my biggest gripes about any games are the games where you get punished for not exploring but also don't properly telegraph path the main path and then hit you with points of no return. It's so frustrating when you are trying to explore for loot and accidentally make irreversible progress. Naughty Dog is so good at avoiding this with their level design, you always have visual indicators built into the world or will have an NPC standing waiting at the correct door, making it obvious which way to not go if you are trying to look for loot.
OGRE Giant, powerful, angry, but thankfully not very smart. The ogre is one of the most layered enemies we've fought. Their huge one give their attacks good range, and they can hit the ground running.
