It is what it is. Arsenal were there for the taking but Norwich just lacked that final edge to get the win. We all know that it's fine lines in the Prem. Why Zimbo had his arm up, I don't know. On another day, their keeper wouldn't have been quite so good too.

@@Recusey As a Norwich fan, I have to agree in a technical sense. My problem is that the encroachment into the penalty area before the kick was taken happens with almost every penalty. If it only gets penalised 10% of the time, then it is a lottery, and the team which suffers can claim it's unfair in that sense. Would the same decision have been made if Liverpool/ManCity/ManUtd or even Arsenal had been taking the penalty? I doubt it very much.

@@alanalan9242 It only gets applied if the encroaching player is the one to clear the ball after a save (impacting play). It's like being offside, you are only ruled as such if you impact play. So basically, if Aarons hadn't been the first to touch the ball, there would have been no retake (even though he, and others, encroached)
