10/10 for effort, but Pool lack so much technical ability it's untrue. So many times we gift the opposition possession with poor passes. Also, we like to play it out from the back, but the minute the opponents press us, we've no idea what to do with the ball and go into panic mode and end up launching it forward and giving it away again. The coaching is derelict. Glad for the 3pts, but don't let this win paper over the cracks. We're lacking in so many areas. Husband is a good defender, but his passing ability upfield is shockingly bad. Launches it into no-mans-land so many times. Ekpiteta can't pass the ball either, so playing out from the back is such a poor tactic for us to be using. We don't have a midfielder who can bring the ball forward centrally and pass it with attacking intent. Way too much is sideways or backwards. And lastly, Norburn aside, we don't have any rough-house tacklers or battlers - we're too powder-puff and soft. Play-offs would be a bonus, but even though we won today, we were garbage for the first 60 minutes.

A lot of this is very true but I think it’s the same for a lot of teams in this league. We have been bad recently but injuries haven’t helped. 50+ points we ain’t doing too bad and maybe it’s about consolidation this year??

Dembele has to start he does exactly that, carry the ball up. Our midfield three to start has to be Morgan Norburn and Dembele so much better control and temperament there. Also really liking Joseph atm he’ll come good got the same energy and work rate of Yates, just needs to finish.

As blackpool fans under sadler were going knowere ,it's league one at best for us for near future or more ,due to two thirds of our team being loanees surely ,that's never going to be enough for success that's why we couldn't ,mirror or come close to the championship side that suffered relegation,a lot of pundits thought that we d stay strong with most of players from then ,but sadler got rid of 9 of the championship squad last summer ,and replaced them with on loan players total dgshit .

@@peterarmistead4617consolidation eh ,nah if you call staying in league one ,for the next few years under sadler that then your happy with ,league one football for our club anyone who is and happy with sadler is deluded ,let's see what the ticket prices are next season ,after being one of the highest at 370 this season cos ,with how he s gone about things he s killed any momentum we had ,and our crowds and atmosphere will be down next season sadly .

Your so rite some of our players ,lower league freebies ,and loan players aren't even good enough for league one ,and we've gone backwards even more since relegation ,I mean to be beaten by all three promoted clubs from last season ,orient , Northampton, Stevenage ,is diabolical that tells how ambitious them clubs are ,and we are bigger than all three put together ,but as they say you can only ,be as good as your owner let's you be it's not about ,the manager it's the backing or lack of it from the owner sadlers proved ,from when we were in the championship never bought one player ,to try and stay up even though forest paid 4 million for bowler ,and then when we still thought there might be hope ,he sells Yates as soon transfer window opened I think our owner ,has done well not to get any stick yet cause with his high ,prices for tickets and other things he s here just for the money ,and anyone who thinks he's not and is doing a good job is deluded .
