Marlon pack is fucking mustard, dale is the signing of the season, and we have proven goalscoring threats up top, Lowery is honestly an improvement on morrell and the depth of this team with bench player like mingi, Jacobs and Thompson we genuinely have what it takes to challenge for promotion PUP
Agree with all of this. Marlon is far too good for L1 and the best centre mid we've had for ten years. We'll be in the mix at the end of the season, but there is still a gulf in the division between the good teams and lesser teams. But we are stronger than last year and have a real chance. We'll done the Cowley brothers for building a squad on a tight budget.
@@benjam8062 just wait and see, the difference in the team from Lincoln to this game and a big part was the way dale got on the shoulder of his man and twisted him inside and out, have no idea why Blackpool let him come out on loan, he's good enough for their first team
It's early days but it's looking more promising than it has in previous seasons. I enjoyed the way they pass the ball around with confidence. Keep it going!

Ipswich fan here, Pompey looking decent....strong signings....Dale is class, Pack is quailty, Bishop too. Should be an interesting season for us both. Also glad Jacobs is playing, Paul Cook treated him disgracefully.
Brilliant game, brilliant result, if this was last season we may have lost or drawn this game, but not this season, even when they were behind the boys showed enough character against Cambridge to come back and beat them, especially in that second half where we were ruthless, keep it up Pompey, PUP. 🔹🔷🔵💙

Can’t believe I’m saying it but what seemed to be a doomed transfer window has actually been brilliant with Crowley bringing in experience in pack and Morrison and uth in scarlet olwyemi and zach Swanson I hope it continues as this has looked to be the best season since jackets 2019 team but we’ll see how we are when it’s the dog day and up the blues
The fourth goal was excellent, but I loved the way we hunted down the ball for the third. This is what Pompey fans love: desire and effort. The Cowleys finally have built a squad which almost reflects what they want, within the budgets, of course, and now we'll start seeing what they're about as a managerial team. In summary, their frequently stated ambition to give the city and the fans, a team of which they can feel proud of, is arriving. PUP!!
Should have shown Griffiths first and third saves. He made three top level saves and to be fair kept us in the game. Scoreline was deffo flattering, but a great game. Bishop and Pack are something else. PUP
apparently hes been pressing really well and is very good at holding up the ball, not scored a goal yet though - i havent seen him play but thats what ive heard.
Making a solid impact on the pitch for sure, pressing well and making decent runs in behind. Not quite worked out in front of goal yet, but if he keeps working as hard as he has the goals will come.
