Highlights: Race #31 - Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 | Supercars 2020 

Gizzy finally wins at Bathurst. This is the first Bathurst race that i watch live on TV

I'm a Ford fan and love to see Ford win but it was a fitting tribute to see a Holden win in their last year on the mountain. All the years of classic Holden vs. Ford battles and what an end. Thanks to both makes for a lifetime of entertainment. Unfortunately I haven't watched Aussie Supercars for years as I don't want to subscribe to Sky TV for a year for just one race. I do miss the big day but feel a bit sold out by Supercars.

Watched this live from Netherlands sitting on the edge of my sofa.

This was an Awesome 2020 season, and season finale race at the Bathurst 1000. I'm a Jamie Whincup and Craig Lowndes fans so when they were out that was real shame for me. But in all honesty I believe the right car and driver won today. It's great to finally have Shane van Gisbergen win his first Bathurst 1000 after coming so close on many attempts. I love when Bathurst has dry and wet weather driving mixed with several Safety Cars it's always awesome action. Great job by Team Penske DJR, Ford Mustang and Scott Mclaughlin on winning the Championships. I hope he does well in Indy. Also farewell to the Factory Holdens. Ford Vs Holden at Bathurst has been by childhood and a pleasure to watch over many, many years. Here's to the future.

SVG had a great co driver. Having a good co driver is the key for Bathurst.

My country's sport channel never aired v8 sc before and truthfully hardly anyone aware of this series here. But the channel finally show v8 sc bcos during covid no other live sport events available. And now I'm hook to v8 sc, especially Bathurst

I miss those 80s cars back when the Bathurst 1000 was great. That would be awesome if the President of the Bathurst 1000 did a 70s,80s nostalgic race event for 2021.

Feel incredibly sorry for my favourite driver craig lowndes, i thought 888 could win and the car was behaving itself, strategy was good making up good places, however whincup was stupid and went for the overtake in a bad place and sent the car into the wall. So glad SVG and tander did well for red bull and to farewell holden, did a amazing job. GO 888 hopefully win next year. Tragic to see Holden leave the mountain. Ford fans relying on safety car again, got so annoyed when there was a safety car in the last laps, main thing is holden got there in the end. Thanks Holden, Great race as always. GO HOLDEN

Im new to this racing sports (no im not a driver) i just want to ask something. 1. Why there are two identical cars in a race, what's their purpose? 2. What's that plastic thing they tear on the windshield? 3. How did the car lift up on the pit lane? Does the car have hydraulics underneath? 4. Flags?

Poor for Jamie Whincup could not finish the race this year because the car is in a very pretty well setup in every race this year....clearly i'm miss at the time when whincup and lowdness being team mate to win bathruss 1000 supercheap.... I think with Holden's last Bathurst, event the Ford fans were Holden fans. Falcon fans had to say goodbye a few years ago, and now without the Commodores, Bathurst no longer feels the same.
