the Tory logic: "its always someone else's fault" I was half anticipating that PM will blame the patients for queuing up rather than simply either dying or going to private sector or doing health tourism
You can see Sunak starting to build the excuses for why he won't achieve his five objectives. The track record of 14 years of Tory failure remains unbroken.
And the amazing thing is, despite everything that has happened, a large portion of the country will continue to say "Labour won't be any better, stick with what you know!" and the Tories will continue to receive a staggering number of votes, hopefully I'll be proven wrong.
Absolutely spot on.His FIVE POLICIES, the STOP THE BOATS one which seems to be his main policy, putting it above the U.K. living crisis, have failed miserably. All Sunak does when he BOTHERS to turn up to PMQs is spin and bullshit. He’s completely deluded, just trying to please the Conservative right wing brigade, who don’t believe in him(those Conservative members voted for Liz Truss in the leadership challenge) and believe he stabbed Boris Johnson in the back.He knows he’s a dead man walking,so he try’s to flex his muscles and grandstand in front of his cronies at PMQs, which happens to be a total waste of time. And why he persists in saying Starmer is in the pockets of the Unions is an absolute joke.Ask Mick Lynch what he thinks of Keir Starmer!
Many a whinging arse hole voted them in! Do you really believe Tory starmer will fix the NHS and Social Care?!The standard of exchanges at PMQs is just so low because they both know that to fix the NHS and social care a huge cash injection is needed, they are both singing off the same hymn sheet and the hymn is called There Is No Money (and we won't tax the mega rich) .
because your broken 17th century parliamental rules allow him to dodge the questions ... would not be possible in other parliaments ... and in addition - lies are not allowed to be called out !!! the PM loves these ancient rules unfit for the 21st century !!
The confidence they have whilst spewing what they know is actual untruths baffles me. Rishi knows there’s no 40 new hospitals, yet he repeats it without batting an eyelid. Why was Boris ousted again?
They deflect to Labour constantly because they haven't got any idea what they're doing, and most of the ideas that did work came from Labour, but Labour have kept quiet for a while now after realizing Tories u-turned and used their ideas!! Lol ..
The reason he asks is because people complain about a problem but never have a workable solution. Labour unfortunately don't really have a plan and it shows. And with the Non Dom thing, they don't pay tax on income they make outside the country only if they live outside the country a certain number of days. All the income made within the UK is taxed as normal. So if you start taxing the foreign income, people wouldn't bring their money into the UK so taxing it like that would be an overall loss to the UK economy.
@@thabagosal You do realize Labour is not in charge right now? It is the Tories job to present a plan, not Labour. And just like always the Tories deflect from their own incompetence by literally saying 'nanana but you also don't have a plan' not realizing they are the one in charge ... the stupidity is astounding.
@@thabagosal For starters atleast Labour won't crash the economy like Truss and her merry gang in pursuit of free market purism. They won't be handing out billions of pounds to people like Mone over dodgy PPE contracts. Labour will atleast do more to support working class people unlike the Tories who want to stop them going to Uni. Oh and did I mention Labour won't scrap the Human Rights Act under the guise of boat people? And last but not least- Labour will atleast do something about raw sewage being pumped into our waterways unlike thew Tories who rewarded shareholders with dividends while Thames water went bust. Just these few aforementioned things are plan enough.
Challenge all Tory front benches to work just one week in the NHS! Then, see what they think NHS pay should be? They couldn't cope with one Sat night in A & E!
@@petyrkowalski9887 yeh he really needs to be made to answer the questions otherwise it just renders the entire process useless, which it is and has been for to long now
We can afford to pay them what they deserve. It's simple; 2nd Homes should be sold off to with all proceeds going back into the treasury. Instead of palatial flats and houses on the outskirts of London, they can take a studio apartment in Croydon. Expenses should be limited to work events. Not everyday expenses, including home expenses as it is now. All Contracts must go to public tender, with a public review, not a parliamentary one, a public one. If it smells bad, it doesn't get paid out. Finally, tax Rishis wife. She owes enough in taxes to cover the majority of the payrises. They don't WANT to do it. Look at the SNP Lady who left, she said it perfectly. Billions for upgrades to parliament, billions for upgrades to palaces, billions for upgrades to houses owned by public figures, but no money for nursing or education.
in 2010 there were (approx) 20,500 paramedics today that number is 16,900. If you get rid of 3,500 you don't get praise for saying you'll increase the number by a few hundred. You're still down a few thousand from where you started. BTW I was in hospital last night, Royal Glamorgan A&E. I had to wait 6 hours to see a doctor in total agony. I still support the doctors Strike action, paying bottom rate gets you a bottom rate service.
The standard of exchanges at PMQs is just so low because they both know that to fix the NHS and social care a huge cash injection is needed, they are both singing off the same hymn sheet and the hymn is called There Is No Money (and we won't tax the mega rich) .
It always has been the case that the opposition has been asking questions on behalf of the electorate.Industrial action is essential.Opposition questions
Yeah! Do you know the average salary of Doctor Vs average salary of any other industry work....!! Doctors are already earning more than twise than any other skilled labourer!! If they get unexpectedly high pay rise, so as the other workforce will demand. Where will the money come from?? UK people, when your income is 1000, you must not promise to spend 1500!! Instead one should focus on cutting cost and work hard to change circumstances...
A rare sight, and always welcome, when the PM suddenly starts asking the questions. It's good to see they're getting ready for their turn as the opposition.
@@britnatzaredemocracydenier5922 Led by Donkeys has a video out detailing Tories such as Kwasi Kawarteng cozying up to lobbyists and demanding £5000 a day!

Many a Tory will facepalm on that response from Starmer. Sunak, the billionaire, who represents billionaires and millionaires, promotes mathematics as a key policy in education and gets that wrong on Starmer's age. I bet that was a - please let the ground beneath me, swallow me whole, moment.😂
They have the nerve to take the Summer holidays in these exceptional circumstances. Unbelievable but on consideration....Believable. Happy Summer holidays
Sunak thinks this is his chance to ask Starmer questions and try to hold him to account. Soon enough. Can't wait until Tories are reduced to double digits in Parliament.
Another vintage performance. More questions asked by Sunak than answered as usual and the standard rowdy behaviour peppered by empty threats from Hoyle. Will the speaker ever throw one of the braying donkeys out? Will this Prime Minister realise that he’s supposed to answer the questions, not ask questions? Find out when PMQs returns after a lovely long summer break.
Here’s the truth - two days ago I waited 8 hours for an ambulance to get my 91 year old Grandfather to the hospital after a hip fracture. I’m tired of this government and the fake promises, on with a new government
"It is hard to imagine a more stupid or more dangerous way of making decisions than by putting those decisions in the hands of people who pay no price for being wrong." --Thomas Sowell
What do you want tory starmer to say? Yes I will fully fund the NHS and Social Care. Money is always the problem and these two jerks agree there is no money. So it looks like the workers and working class will just have to suffer the consequences!
All they need to do is get a Speaker who isn't afraid to insist that all questions are answered and that the PM will not be allowed to leave until he/she has answered. Having the Speaker's team fact-check the answers might also be useful.
Blaming working people for wanting fair, liveable wages, for saving your lives, wonder how long that'll last him? It's pretty common knowledge, or should be, that the industrial action is having a minimal impact or disruption because they have spent months and months planning it out so treatment and the like can continue. Stop blaming working people, start taking accountability.
I always smile when you listen to a politician, they never answer a question, they just answer the question with a question. Sunak the first thing he blames is industrial action but the fact is the waiting lists were terrible high long before the industrial action.
Intelligence, compassion, competence, honesty and decency are just some of the words that you could not use to describe UK politics. Absolutely appalling people!
I've been joking for months that I think Rishi Sunak would much rather be Leader of the Opposition but this is the first time I've just seen him straight up ask Starmer a question at PMQs instead of giving an evasive answer as usual.
Good to see NHS front and centre here. And better PMQ's than with Boris. Glad that the GB news culture of: what is a woman etc. hasn't seeped unti this debate.
Myself and my nieces were born at Hillingdon Hospital and I have enormous respect for it as the mortality rate when I was born 35 years ago was absolutely terrible.
It was Sunak who bunked off. When the PM os "unavailable", it's standard practice for the deputy PM to tale his place and for their shadow deputy PM to ask the questions.
@@icarus372 You always face your opposite number. Not previously an issue as PM/s didn't skip so many PMQ's unless it was for UN meetings and such like. Since Boris it's been a way for PM's to avoid scrutiny..As for blaming Starmer, he's keen to take any opportunity to face Sunak..
Hospital waiting lists the lowest in 2 years? That would be impressive, except I’m reasonably sure there was something going on 2 years ago that skewered the statistics. Can’t for the life of me remember what it was though.
😅 full of miracle's, inflation has gone down, waiting lists suddenly gone down in the NHS & the day isn't over yet. A Miracle before my 👀 & disbelieving 👂. 🙏
I wish these videos didn’t always have to end with Sunak having the last pointless word. It’s not like he ever answers anything anyway. Watching him crumble and squirm is so entertaining and well deserved.
@@AvailableHandle The questioning of sturgeon and her hubby you mean hahaha we all know up here it is a dirty tricks campaign by your masters in the English establishment.. I guarantee no charges are brought wanna put money on it ?
This kind of "both sides" idea is just playing into the Tories' hands. If you compare Yvette Cooper, Wes Streeting and Johnathan Reynolds with Suella Braverman, Therese Coffey and Steve Barclay you'll see they're miles ahead in compassion and understanding of people's problems.
@@fang_xianfu Wouldn't include Wes "I'm a greasy little sh*t that wants to privatise the NHS and thinks you should live without hope" Streeting in that category mate...
My dream of Karma is to have Sunak and his cohorts to be locked in a room and forced to watch again and again all the lies and broken promises they have made over the last 14 years.
Would be better if they had to live it for the rest of their pitiful existence, whilst simultaneously taking all their wealth to improve ours EDIT: Stolen wealth from our coffers that WE provide
@@hazelhatswell4268 Nah let them wonder amongst us in jealousy of how well we are doing, while they are holding up copies of the big issue and wondering where their next meal is coming from
They never fail to humiliate themselves, about the only thing they don't fail, and the speaker should retire, old and institutionalised, both parties are a disgrace 🤬
Like kids in school that can't wait to escape for their for school holidays. Can't we put some grown ups in this house that actually want to do some work. Scree their holidays, they are all part time anyway!
0:45 I don't think it was deliberate, but Starmer stumbling over "LGBTQ+" acronym in a way that misses out the T, in the middle of an apology to the queer community, isn't a great look.
