Scotland not just won, but won a forwards pack duel and Georgia always been a forwards oriented team. Would like to watch Georgian improved team at WRC. Lelo, Lelo, Sakartvelo!
Brilliant play by both teams. Absolutely a syntilating test match. Loloos played brilliantly. Great second half comeback from scottish warriors ❤️🔥. Go thristle Go Scotland 🏴🏴🇱🇰🤝🏴 . Love and respect for both teams from Sri Lankan fan. 🇱🇰🤝🏴🇬🇪
I’ve said earlier in the pre wc games . Dismiss Scotland at your peril. I’m a proud Welshman 🏴 but have been so impressed with how Scottish rugby has turned around . Maybe it’s the Celt in me but I’m so pleased for them and there style there playing. Ireland 🇮🇪 are always massive and will smash anything in there way . As for us Welsh , we’re in a transition period, new players , new management but we’re at a rebuilding period. Right us off at your peril. 2 years time we’ll be back ❤️💪🏴🏴🏴🏴
Thanks for being the only Tier 1 side regularly playing with Georgia and giving Lelos much-needed Tier 1 exposure. First-half Georgia played like Tier 1 team, and in the past year they beat Wales and Italy, first Tier 1 wins for Georgia
@@russoswerve7856are you thick. What part of SA beating NZ by 28 points make you think that will happen. Specially when Scotland score nothing against a tier 2 11th ranked Georgia for the entire first half and Ireland just scraped a win against a tier 2 12th ranked Samoa. You NH fans are delusional.
@@prudeuncle You guys are good but 4th place in the world rankings feels about right. Not this year lads, but we're looking forward to some entertaining rugby!
Georgia did absolutely superb! Scotland though the scoreboard is massive had to work hard for a lot of that and came late to the game. Well done Scotland but also well done Georgia, see you in the World Cup! 🇿🇦🇿🇦
I don’t think Scotland necessarily played badly in the first half, I think with a team like Georgia you just have to be patient and break them down and tire them out
@@adrianciobanu5856 Georgia defeated Italy and Wales in the past year. Also, as a side note, because I think you are Romanian :) Georgia destroyed Romania 56-6 and has won 14 out of the past 15 games against Romania :) So, what is the point of Georgia playing with weak teams like Romania, and how will Georgia develop without playing with tier 1? There is a small gap between Italy and Georgia, as a recent victory and game before also showed. Playing against Japan, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa is also great, but Russia? :D have you seen Georgias record with russia?
@@subutai999 You don't have to focus in the last games but see the whole game. In July it was the first time that Georgia won against Italy, all the previous match Georgia was defeated. Wales was (is) in a big renovation point at this moment, they lack of new players and their quality is getting down due to that. Despite that, they have been playing without paid for several months due to a large financial problem of their federacion, which lead inevitably to a lack of motivation for the players. Wales has lost against Italy as well in the 6 nation and they are loosing a bunch of match. Georgia is massively improving thanks to the sparring games with England. Georgia's problem is that they are playing alwais with weaker teams. The last plays were against Portugal, Germay, Spain, Romania, all weaker teams. Let's see how Georgia will do against real team such as Fiji or Australia in the world cup
@@subutai999 The gap between Italy and the rest of the 6N teams is huge. Yes they beat Wales when Wales were at the worst they've been in 16 years, but they won't win any games during the 2024 6N's - and so would be the same for Georgia. I personally think it should be reduced to 5 Nations, and then a lower category of competition should be set up for Georgia, Italy, Japan, etc.
Wouldn’t surprise me if Ireland get eliminated 😅 The world cup isn’t the autumn nations series. Totally a difference ball game. South Africa have prepared well. Anyway, should be a cracking world cup.
That Van Der Merwe guy should’ve been playing for the Netherlands instead. I remember Tim Visser; big Dutch player that played for Scotland, and then - he disappeared. Wasted talent, that he would’ve helped the Dutch rugby team, immensely. All afrikaners, with Dutch ancestry, should migrate to the Netherlands and help them become competitive. Someday, Netherlands could be part of the Six Nations, thanks to the influx of Afrikaner players with Dutch ancestry. They’re needs to be professional league setup (like Major League Rugby in America) in the Netherlands to sign many South Africans to play there. Another competitive nation from mainland Europe is a good thing.
Visser didn't "disappear," he retired in his mid 30's and moved on to run his own business around Edinburgh. Not exactly a wasted talent, when he's one of the highest try scorers in the URC. As for Duhan, it was his own personal choice to represent Scotland. No player is gonna change nationality to a tier 3 team like the Netherlands unless, like you said, there's a professional league to draw them in
No one can. Not even the All Blacks. Don't you worry. The Bravehearts are looking good. I'm a Kiwi who put money down two months ago on Scotland beating Ireland to make the quarters at the Rugby World Cup. It's looking pretty good, with both the Springboks and Scotland showing form. Ireland, not so much. I also have Georgia progressing from pool C. I went with both Georgia and Scotland as the odds were great, and I could see it happening. Georgia looked ok against a peaking Scotland and their B team put on 50 against a hapless Romania. She'll definitely be a battle in pool C for sure. Wales will fight and Fiji look in form. May the best team win.
@@JaemanEdwards isn't Ireland on a thirteen game winstreak? I'm not liking the look of the groups, terribly formed. the tight matches will be played in the groups instead of QF's and SF's
That S. Africa didn't want ie van, nel has been playing for years wth 🏴 schoeman rather play for 🏴 than S. A, as for steyn hiss Toppie is 🏴 we will see in world cup boks in for a shock, frm Irealand wish they played first then 🏴
@@darrentodd3591yea we are shaking in our boots lol did you watch the rugby this weekend cause what I saw was SA beating NZ by 29 points. Scotland score nothing against a tier 2 11th ranked Georgia for the entire first half and Ireland just scraped a win against a tier 2 12th ranked Samoa. You NH fans are delusional.
Because he’s been out of form for over a year, has a number of injuries and also got caught cheating on his wife for the millionth time Story goes that Townsend told him to save his reputation by retiring
I think Georgia will be just a bad joke in the next World Cup, many people think they can beat Wales and even Australia. I've seen England against Fiji 22-30. I think Georgia will not score more then 15 points against Wales and Australia combined, and they will lose minimum 30 points gape. I think Fiji will put minimum 20 points gape between them and Georgia.
We have very little funding unlike other countries , although the government are building new pitches there very little infrastructure. We should be allowed in 6 nations least our country is progressing unlike italy
Yes, a South African man that was neglected by the Boks after a long term injury. Scotland actually gave him a chance at senior level and he’s been grateful to us ever since
@aj-qj4lt i do agree the game of our 57-0 defeat we were completely and utterly outclassed. i can definitely say, however, with past proof and future predictions, that was the first and will be the last ever time such a scoreline would ever be given to the bokke, regardless of the opposition. our rugby and depth in the squad as a whole has vastly increased. take into consideration that we went on to win the wc right after that monumental loss. i would also like to point out that the all blacks playing with less than 15 men on the field at any given point is 10000% due to their own doing. so your point being that they had 14 men for most of the game is invalid as receiving cards and getting sent off for reckless behavior or plays is part of the game. if they can't adapt to having fewer men on the pitch due to their own actions, they should have more discipline. im sure you can side with me that scott barret's sending off was not a "bad call" whatsoever. lastly, im certain a team like scotland, whose pack can not ever dream to hold a candle against the boks pack, would put up even a relatively stronger fight than the all blacks, whom we have obviously dominated. maybe if Scotland had just a few more South african players in their team, would they stand a better chance. thanks and cheers.
I mean hey, it wasn't unjustified, the scoreline is similar and from what I've seen on social media, that scoreline is the mark of a true champion, rooting for Georgia to clinch it @@aj-qj4lt
@@aj-qj4lt take your L buddy with a 7-1 split as well, boks backline was fresh throughout, springboks in your head rent free, you guys dont have enough depth for the rwc unfortunately!
Whats your point?. Ireland and South Africa have 4 teams in Pro 14. Registered players S.A 650000 Ireland 21000 Scotland 38500 It's amazing that Rugby's so competitive at the moment Based on those numbers no one should be coming near you or England for that matter yet....🤔
@t82277 I don't want to hear that bullshit about registered players,Large part of SA does not have electricity or running water. For the last 2 years you guys have talked a big game. And we all kept telling you you are no match when it matters.Good luck with the next inquiry into what went wrong for Ireland.
