How was Paige not acting correctly that geno pulled her out?

@@jenojam2854 Paige likes to set up her teammates and get them involved that's why they like to play with her. Geno is never totally happy with how his girls are playing even though they are playing really well. Paige passes and Geno thinks she should shoot or vice versa. He should just let her play her game. He always has a problem with something.

@@tonipfohler6503 I'll put it this way. Paige doesn't like to take bad shots. That's why she passes a lot. She'll take a shot she doesn't like if she has to but she would rather get her teammates involved too. If she shoots and misses Geno doesn't like it. If she passes and someone else shoots and misses her don't like it either. Don't get me wrong he's a very good coach but the players aren't going to make every play he wants them to make and every good shot isn't going to drop. He thinks they should play perfectly in his mind and we all know that's not going to happen. He's always expecting too much out of his girls. According to him every shot that doesn't drop is a bad one. He's too used to winning and it shows a lot.

She does what many great players do who know they can turn it on any time, she tries to let her teammates get into the flow. If she starts off dominating, people tend to stand around and watch. I dont like her at 4, she needs to have the ball in her hands. When she does, she can be more aggressive and whene she's hunting her shot, she draws lots of attention and that opens up opportunities for others and she's one of the few who can always make the right read and pass. She's the best at determining exactly what the teams needs at critical times in game flow, momentum, etc and does what's needed, whether it be a block, steal, a dagger 3, fancy pass to excite the crowd...even getting rough if the team needs a jolt. It's an amazing quality and she's the best I've ever seen at reading a game in women's ball.

Aw stop they have their core players fudd was not going to be an asset she doesn't show up for big games other teams have injuries also it's just too many good teams around the country plain and simple

I'm not blind.., there are many good teams (some of them currently much better than Uconn), but I would've liked to see them at full strength against the other powerhouses.

Why they didn't beat a ranked team

​@@anthonytaylor7928 Marquette is currently ranked 18th and Uconn is ranked 15th but several top 10 and 15 teams lossed this week. It's very likely Uconn will move up at least a couple spots.

You've been paying attention to UConn since 2006; who was the last big they had who made a significant national game impact? If you say, Stewart, don't think so; Stewart was an outside player. I think UConn has only had two: Rebecca Lobo, Tina Charles. UConn has had a bunch of outside players, and UConn has done fairly well over the years.

@@lastonestanding3417 Stewie was definitely a big. The fact that she could bounce out and hit J's doesnt change that. She was a low lost beast, a double digit rebounder and the best rim protector in the country

This is key they still play Norte dame and South Caroline in Jan and Feb so well see..I’m still skeptical myself how long will you be able to get away with no physicality or height inside ? TBD

If you did you would know that women have better hearing, better color vision, and better perception of smell under certain circumstances. They also have larger vocabularies when it comes to color, smell, & hearing. Since you are relatively poorly educated, I'll refer you to an article that even you should be able to read. It's from Psychology Today & it's written by Jordan Gaines Lewis, PhD. The title is "WHEN IT COMES TO COLOR, MEN & WOMEN AREN'T SEEING EYE TO EYE". If the article is "over your head" take a girl friend to a paint store & watch her pay attention to the hue, saturation & brightness of every color while they look too similar to you to consider significant. I'll bet that your girl friend or sister or female cousin can see 50 shades of gray while you will see only light gray & dark gray. Women also attach an emotional value to color that men don't. Ashlyn is a potential All-American. She has skills you don't possess. but because of the lighting & the ambient colors, she didn't shoot as well from long range as she usually does. She & most every other women would shoot better if the backboard were tinted a gray color. Moreover, she would shoot better if her aim point were the net hanger directly opposite her instead of the back of the rim. The contrast between the orange net hanger & the white net would always register better for her & every other women than the orange rim diluted by conflicting red colors or flashing lights. Since there are at least 100 easily accessed articles about women's superior color vision versus men, science is on my side.

Didn't Marquette make one good play in the game? Do you just want to see Uconn score every time they bring the ball upcourt? That's not reality. Show me highlights of the game. If it's a total Uconn highlight reel, it's a waste of time.
