Here in Minnesota, sitting on my sofa, hands over my head celebrating goals 2 & 3! Great highlight reel with wonderful commentary! Wrexham feels like a team of destiny.
NYC here. I got up and gave the air an uppercut after that third goal and yelled as if I were there. Freaking rollercoaster of emotions with this team. On another note, played soccer growing up but hated watching it on the TV because of the 'quality' of play. Here I am watching a 5th (now 4th) division team. Never watched this much soccer in my life.
This January window will probably be the most crucial since Rob and Ryan have taken over, if they get it right, add some defensive depth, get a couple of marquee loan signings from premier league clubs, they can not only make the playoffs, but get promotion to league one, and set themselves up for possible championship promotion, but they HAVE to get this window right.
Crazy roller coaster game! The game is not over until the final whistle, Wrexham didn't give up and keep pushing. That's why they have the chance to score the equalizer, that is why the score the winning goal! I know this kind of game giving fan a huge heart attack, but damn what a well deserve win! As a Liverpool fan, I'm not stranger for come back game, this is a blessing to watch. That being said, Wrexham defend really need to up their game.
This team is great going forward but the defence needs more work. They need to strengthen at the back. New fan of the club from the Disney plus series. Come on Wrexham!!!
Eliott Lee has been the most valuable player for Wrexham for some time now, imo... well Mullin was there with him till the recent past when he got injured.
Considering that Salford is owned by the class of '92, and have a direct line to Manchester Uniteds youth squad, this is quite the impressive comeback!
What does that have to do with any of this? It's not like the class of 92 were on the pitch. None of the players has never even been in Man Utd's youth system, hell they dont even have any loan players from Man Utd
We keep doing this because we have depth that very few teams have. We can charge for a full 90 and then some. Our backups are just as quality as our starters. This is what a large payroll will buy you. Sadly, we can’t keep doing this. We need to patch the holes in the back in the transfer window. It’s the left midfield position and possibly another proven center back with incredible pace. With how direct we play, everyone needs to be at 100% fitness and faster than their opposite. I love Tozer, but he’s not very fast. Very skilled but no picante in his legs. Hayden has pace and he keeps getting caught out so who knows how Parky will adjust. I just know he will. There’s a reason all his teams earn promotion using this 3-5-2 or 5-3-2. He’s a genius with this system
I'm sorry but I stopped at left midfield position....Lee is there and one of our best players. I agree they need to adjust but that's 🤯 to say Lee needs replacing.
Hiya. I don't suppose you've highlights footage of Wrexham Women's 13 - 0 annihilation of Pwllheli in the FAW Women's Cup that we could all take a look at? Pleeeeeease (fingers x-ed). Stay safe. All the best to you.
A win is a win, it doesn't matter if its a smash and grab job like this, or if you win by 13 the way the women did recently. Its all the same. Take it, enjoy it, and off to the next.
I take the win but we can not play with luck on our side all the time...the team needs improvement and we can see it ... don't get me wrong I'm all for the wins in whatever shape they come but this could show some underlying issues
@@GuitarFuel There are absolutely underlying issues and the defense has to be addressed. The 1st warning sign was that 3-5 loss to MK Dons, then again 5-0 to Stockport. It was luckily were the only times the offense wasn't able to bail them out. Its worrying yes, and hopefully in the long term can be fixed but also remember to savor every win... Its been 15 years since they've been back... worry a bit yes but enjoy the victories when they come.
I still do not understand what constitutes a penalty in this game. There are times when there is a lot of physical contact that is clearly over the top. The game is dangerous enough as it is to not call out intentional rough contact. That guy basically mugged Mullin and it was no where near the ball.
At this level there is no replay/additional refs to be able to help. They were in attack and the initial blow didn't constitute stopping the game so all the refs were looking forward. Dumb but should have been a red card
Dominated us? Slices of luck? The ball cannoning off the goalkeeper was a slice of luck. The best team won yesterday. We had by far the lions share of chances and yet another penalty shout not given. Notts we’re nowhere near in control of that game at any point. I wouldn’t say Wrexham where either, it was end to end all game and the team that created the most chances scored the only goals. Always a great game v Notts though. Both teams to do well again this season
@@stephenreed5091 I am impressed from what I have seen from him so far. Great presence and distribution, good handling and positioning. Also not bad anticipation and reflexes. Lacks only in areal area a bit.
Amazing how many people jumped on the Wrexham bandwagon since two Hollywood actors pumped a lot of money into the club! How many of the so called fans will hang around when the money stops pouring in and the Hollywood actors leave the club in the lurch?
I think that they shined a light on a town and club that Americans and others find very inspiring and lovable. At least that’s my take and why I’m a fan. If it wasn’t for Ryan and Rob I would have never heard of Wrexham. We Americans need something to root for. We’re still dealing with the aftermath of the nasty orange dictator tRump and his racists magats.
When is Wrexham going to learn DEFENCE!??! You will not be getting promoted conceding 2 goals a game avg! 2nd best defence last year and now only playing last goal wins!
