I tried the Guerlains Vetiver about 9 months ago for the first time, and from this moment on it is my favorite. I´ve gone through 150 ml since and just opened a new bottle. Wearing it every day be it on my work outside in the garden or when I go out in the evening. In the summer or wintertime. It just is magical yet natural all the way from the opening untill it turns into the sweet skin cent 8 hours later. What a masterpiece.
The power of words can be assessed with how beautifully you have described Guerlain Vetiver. Just because how you described it, I bought it for myself couple of weeks ago and just love it! Thank you for such insightful reviews.
My ruh khus arrived 3 days ago from S Md. Ayub Md. Yaqub.I will purchase my next ruh khus from M.L. RAMNARAIN . Ruh khus is very potent ,I only need very little .I dabbed some on my shirt a few days ago and today that shirt still smells of vetiver after been washed.
So gotta say this fragrance is multifaceted. It reacts with your skin chemistry. The top notes will be the same on all application's but the middle and dry down can be different many times. Ive hadr the ambergris shine through the dry down with very petrol like sea salt air. Ive also had the oakmoss in this frag shine in the dry down. You will notice a indian spice or cinnamon commi g through. As you said Nhikil the oakmoss is apparent. This scent is magical. All fragrance enthusiasts should buy this fragrance. This also has an old wood clothes chest or and old wood cabinet with metal brackets. You can smell aged wood and metal, probably natural notes in the vetiver.
I recently bought a decant of Sultan Vetiver and found it to be authentic to my Ruh Khus 15000 from Attar Mohamed Dawood & Company . Sultan Vetiver had all facets of Vetiver in its scent, the bitterness, sweetness and smoky qualities. If you have sniffed Nishane Sultan Vetiver, I'd love to know your thoughts on that!
I really enjoyed your comments and your review.. it certainly leaves the scent of your own personality lingering, not altogether subtly, and certainly enduringly, in the air.. quite captivating and endearing, I must say. Authentic to be sure!
There is a Vetiver essential oil by Aroma Treasures which is wonderfully rooty, earthy & woody. Interestingly, it evokes in me the feeling of biting into roasted groundnuts along with their shell! I don't know about the source of the oil as they haven't mentioned it. Try it if you get a chance.
What about the Roja Vetiver, both parfum and parfum cologne? I have the Creed Vetiver and adore it. Some claim that Roja is even better....!!? After all, Roja Dove worked 20 years in Guerlain... I guess he knows the Guerlain Vetiver in and out to then make HIS take on it
I’m surprised you didn’t mention Castle Forbes Vetiver. You really seemed to enjoy Neroli from the same house, I’m assuming it was sold out. Great reviews👍
I haven't tried the Guerlain or Creed scents yet but currently my favorite vetiver scent by far is Sycamore from Chanel. It's a very clean vetiver scent supported by the classic aldehydic notes that Chanel is famous for.
Hi nikhil bahi Can you do video on feel oud ateeq noir its and affordable artisinal oud What other artisinal oud would you recommend at this price point
Hi sir, I am using Ruh Khas from Agarwood Adam prepared by Zakir Bhai and has amazing experience which can not be expressed in words, especially in summers👍
My introduction to vetiver was a fragrance by A&F called Hempstead. It's almost gone now and it's discontinued. What would be a good replacement for it???
Hello Nikhil. Can you tell me what the difference is in the caps of the 100 ml vs the other sizes of Creed original vetiver ? 🙏🏼 i am looking into buying it, therefor i ask. I see that there is a White cap as Well.?!
Exotic Scents Thank you bro for your kind suggestion... by the way many thanks for introducing SAFARI EXTREME from ASQ... I just loved it... Keep up the good work bro... Keep rocking..
Nikhil sir , one small request to you. Can you please let us know the differences and similarities you find between Guelain Vetiver and TomFord Grey Vetiver?
Great review. Thinking to purchase ruh khus after watching your videos. Which company's offering should i go for? Is kannuajattar site good? Thank you. Great content
Around 10:15 mins were you talking about the Terre d'hermes? Knowing your taste, I would be surprised if that couldn't impress you. That's phenomenal, not watery at all. Complex and everlasting EDT. I would love to hear a review about that from you.
Sorry I misunderstood. I saw that Vetiver tonka is a different fragrance from Hermes. Anyway I would love to hear your opinion about Terre d'hermes. I love that fragrance. Thanks in advance. :)
Hi Dear Nikhil How are you? Nice review on Vetiver. Let me have your opinion on Tom Ford's Vetiver vs Creed's/Guerlain. May I know the origin of this vetiver. If at all I have to buy which one you will recommend. I have Tom Ford now in my shelf. Love & Regards Mohamed Aslam
Nikhil Sir, nothing to say about the review as I have been following each one of your work for 2-3 years and may be multiple times of each episode. As you mentioned Jaipur , if possible/if you have it , can you please let us know your thoughts once? I love Jaipur and it is very close to my heart..
India is full of duplicate perfumes offline n online so very scared of putting my hard earned money so please recommend me your source from where I can buy my genuine perfumes without being duped
Hi nikhil- I know that my question will be irrelevant to the video yet, it would be great if you could advice me weather going to Malikee SSS by ayub & co is better option than Khalifa hind by agarwood assam? Or any other high quality real stuffs out there.
Bro what's your opinion about armani prive vetiver D'hiver ? I have it and personally found to be better than both of the vetivers you've mentioned in the above
Nikhil sir, I have been waiting for lockdown to be lift off to get this, however I have finally ordered and it is on the way. I read few comments that recent version is bad , no Vetiver kind of things .. Can you please let me know if your bottle is recent batch or old?
Finally got it and loving it to bits, getting a Habbit Rouge kind of vibe as you said very mossy soapy slightly leathery may be from Civet , powdery may be from Oris and and lemony opening , beautiful and goes to soft spicy woody with soapy powdery in background may be more I am not an expert , but at last as you said bonafide vetiver smell authentic like oils. It lasts really long and becomes sweeter of Vetiver and woody but only thing projects very softly not sure if something like my juice has to be left for sometime or not and gets matured.....
Your description of who Guerlain’s Vertiver smells like floored me. A truly transportive description. I am never disappointed when I visit your channel.
I love your reviews bro. I suggest you to please try “ Blue Oud” by Arabian Oud. I guarantee you will be amazed. One of the best oriental perfumes if not the best. Please try and review. Waiting eagerly. Lots of love.
HELLO NIKHIL, BEEN FOLLOWING YOU FOR WHILE I MUST SAY YOUR KNOWLEDGE ABOUT OUDH IS BEYOND ONES IMAGINATION! YOU GOOD.MY SISTER IS VISITING BOMBAY,ASKED HER TO PICK FEW BOTTS OF OUDH FOR ME I WAS LOOKING FOR SMOCKEY SWEET HONEY,WOODY WITH HINT OF TOBACCO OR LEATHERY OUDH,WOULD YOU BE ABLE TO TELL ME WHERE YOU THINK SHE CAN GET IT FROM, I WOULD APPRECIATE YOUR KIND HELP
This is why I don't buy these so called mature perfumes...seen so many youtubers say good things about Guerlain vetiver...got myself a good clone of this and it's so hard on the nose...very hard...won't say its a bad smell like some oud attars which smells like fecal matter but this one cleary disappointed me....it smells like a poor cousin of creed royal water... personally I like royal water...but did not expect Guerlain vetiver to smell like this...am now scared to try Shalimar proclaimed by many as one of the greatest perfume ever created...
