As a 53 year old metalhead who has loved metal for over 40 years all I can say wow, such talent glad to see the young ones loving metal.with kids like this metal will be around for a long time to come.
Brings a tear of joy to my eyes seeing these young cats taking the time and effort to learn to play instruments and playing them pretty damn well. Long live metal ! You can’t kill what doesn’t die- Anthrax
@@Trump4prisonxxx first I applaud your username. Second bro these kids are trying and not sitting around using auto tune and c-rapping. Ik a ton of metal heads that can’t play an instrument. Give them credit
@rogerwalker2224 it kind of is. A good guitarist will get tripped up when the drummer either drags or rushes. They might miss notes or not adapt to the drummer. A great guitarists WILL adapt and will treat the drummer as their metronome. They will play faster or slower if need be, and will play just fine. They can make the drummers mistakes feel like they're part of the song.
Finding a singer is gonna be such a pain. Great solo, dude. The drummer’s kick rolls early on were great. I am SO effing proud of you guys. And I am so proud of your channel and comments section blowing up. 🤘
Their singer couldn't make it cuz he was grounded for that D in Algebra and had to do his make up homework after the dishes and cleaning up the dog poop.
Playing live for Any size crowd, 1am on a Thursday night with just 3 drunks in the bar, whatever, I didn't care when I was in a metal band back in the day, the on-stage thrill is amazing to me.
@@DomDaBom420you the drummer?! Do you listen to cradle of filth and tool? I can hear them in y'all's style the rolls and way y'all carry each other amazing job guys ❤
@@thanumgaming It's ok, your post just seemed to suggest that they were beginning to learn their instruments. They've been playing quite a while and are good at it by any stretch, nevermind their age. I did it too 30 years ago :)
@@springbloom5940I'm in California. Back in the late 80's I was browsing around at a bookstore that sold vinyl's and cassettes, and stumbled on a cassette that had a really cool cover. I was expecting like punk rock or something but it was very thrashy like Kreator and Sodom. It was the album Violent Termination by Devastation. I think I still have the cassette somewhere. I wore the hell out of that tape! Never got to see them live though.
Is this tune original? You guys completely nailed it! As someone who was into 80's metal since always (born in 85, got into metal in 96) , I'm shocked how you guys made this track feel, sound and even "smell" like 80's metal. You rocked!
Right there with you. Born in 88, into metal around 96 as well. My Harley-Davidson riding neighbor asked my parents if he could give me a Master of Puppets cassette after I first heard One in his garage while he graciously allowed me to bother him while he was working on his bike. I was blown away by these kids. Unbelievable talent in all three of them.
Yeah, they're good. Definitely spent a lot of time practicing, and it shows. Very clean, very tight, very well written. I hope they go on to bigger things, because they definitely have a solid foundation.
As an older musician, it makes me happy to see young people learning instruments. It has honestly helped me get through life. On your worst days it can help you deal with the bad things in life. Lift you out of depression and has kept me out of trouble.
Man I have seen everyone in these talent shows just tearing it up. The guitarist obviously is really good, the bassist is right there laying down the thump I dig it.. But dude that drummer is amazing.
@@hooperelectronics2055 exactly what I was thinking. I don't even really like Metallica but if Lars Ulrich ever decides to quit he should apply for a job with Metallica.
The last time I saw “kids” bring the pain so effectively, it was from the band Unlocking The Truth. Outstanding performance, dudes! Rock And Roll will never die, thanks to you🤘🏾🤘🏾
40 year old metal grandma here and gonna say as someone who still performs metal it's beautiful seeing the youth with metal in theirs hearts and killing it!! Good job young men keep It brutal, keep it heavy and keep it thrassssssssssh
The kid behind the drums is kicking ass too. I've been playing drums since 94/95 and we're still playing shows. Found out that we make more money being a cover band playing most punk rock from the mid 90s the most But not limited to. LagWagon Guttermouth NOFX PENNYWISE ETC. ETC. ETC.
Awesome job gentlemen. Thank you for playing real thrash metal. Whether you won that talent show or not, I think you won it here with all of us thrash fans 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘☠️☠️☠️☠️.
I’m 30 years of age and it’s nice to see younger generations still playing electric guitar and metal music. This was literally my best friend Afro and I fifteen years ago. Keep it up 👍🏼
Damn! That was phenomenal! So glad to see young people who are into metal. You guys are definately keeping the spirit of metal alive and well. Also, it sounded like you had King Diamond screaming in the audience at some point 😄
Idk if you got a name for this one, but "Cannon Fire" is what came to my mind. You've got the posturing of an epic war metal band, like Ex Deo or Sabaton. You better go as a Roman soldier for Halloween 😂
60 year old metalhead gives you a massive \m/ back in the day me and my friends did the same thing, i was the drummer and we went on to play a lot of venues over the years, keep the spirit going, my name is metal and i cannot die!
this school supports metal way more than mine did. who got to go up when was supposed to be based on first come first served. we went first so we should have opened. we got placed dead last and everyone left the second we started playing
Hell yeah!! Back in 1999 Myself and 3 other friends played "Call of Ktulu" for our Talent Show, I played James Hetfields parts. Then I went back out with another group and we played "One" where I played bass. Our "sound guy" brought a mixer and 6' cabinets. Well our monitor for the drummer went down and he "turned it up a little". Apparently mother's were running out of the auditorium while covering their babies ears!! (He turned it WAY further up than he thought. The lights were REALLY low) 😂😂😂😂😂 This reminds me of that. But you guys sound way better with proper sound levels. Good job!!!
Nicely done! I want to shout out the drummer. We couldn't really hear it but there was a lot of nice articulation and texture being added. Ghost notes on the hat, neat pattern on the ride and looking so relaxed and deliberate. You know its a good thrash show in a high school gym when your stands are trying to escape your wrath.
I've been playing guitar for 21 years but I gota say it bc not too many people have...that drummer man! Right on man! Wild dude slamming into that set! They all did really well, the bassist also! That's great!
I will never forget my 1st Thrash Metal CD. Exodus, Bonded by Blood. It was thee most Satanic piece of filth I ever heard, that’s why I loved it so much. “You lead us into temptation, a reign of terror has begun, deliver us to evil, prince of hell Satin’s son”!!! Great album.
This just randomly popped up on my feed.... and, it kinda rendered me speechless. Waaay back in 1989, my Band was in a Battle of the Bands when Speed/Thrash metal was NOT a Thing. Long story short, the 3 of us (our Lead Guitar/singer had multiple Marshall Microstacks with a Flying V- Damned if our Bass player had the SAME Bass in Black and I still have my Pearl Export Series set) got onstage and began playing Slayers Angel of Death.... then, the guitars power was cut. Then there's me, just banging our that tune when I was grabbed by one of the teachers and (not so nicely) told our "gig " was done. Glad to see you guys got the props you deserved, instead of what we got...stunned silence, followed by sheer panic to make it go away. Good Times.
This was ubiquitous up until around mid-90's. Sadly, today it's an anomaly. But yeah, back in the day, it was par-level for everyone, everywhere you look, to play at least that well.
I'll be 52 in a couple of months. Like some who have commented, have been a metalhead for over 40 years. The metal is strong with these kids. Because of them and those who are like them, I have great hope for the future of metal, long beyond my years. \m/
