Russ, Arizona is such a gorgeous 😍 state ranging from snow and canyons in the north to desert in the south with cacti. They're are mountains throughout the state with gorgeous 😍💕 scenery.

Russ it is interesting how where one is raised changes their perception of beauty. You see color and beauty in desert landscape. Being from Florida, the home of green, when I look at that country Phil Sheridan's quip comes to mind "If I owned [West] Texas and Hell, I'd live in Hell and rent out Texas." And I spent several years as a child in Tucson.

My travel style is very similar to yours - avoid the big crowds, take the backgrounds and meat the wonderful people you find in small town / rural America. Thanks for taking us with you, and well try to avoid a back seat driving 😏

Great video as always! If you haven’t yet, check out the Show Low White Mountain area north of Globe on the 77. Beautiful drive and head into the pines and more small towns.

I travel it on occasion and it is a pretty drive. The stretch from Globe up to Show Low is even better as it goes through the Salt River canyon and up into the White Mountains. I imagine Russ will get there in a week or two.

Salt River is awesome. I was there in 2020 just before the fires. I went to Saguaro Lake and Superstition Mountains. So beautiful. I do hope Russ makes it out that way. Arizona is so beautiful.

Your channel is right down my alley. My dad loved Nevada and traveling before he passed in 2018. I've went through a few areas out that way on my way to Alaska for the USAF. I'm retired n.ow and headed that way this year. Love to explore and visit off the beaten path places for history, food, relaxation

My friend worked in Hayden at the Asarco Ray mine. If you kept going down 177 you would of run into the big open pit mine . Used to hunt deer up in back of Globe years ago in the Pinal mts.

I'm liking that scenery because of your enthusiasm, but it is pretty.....barren...I've only been to the Colorado River area and Northern AZ. Much more interesting north of Flagstaff, but it's still winter time in the higher elevation.
