I shot this on one of my last days driving a bus. This was truly one of the very few jobs I actually enjoyed. It was never like work to me. This bus never gave me a lick of trouble in the years I drove it! Was better then any C2 or IC I've driven!

Never knew some FS-65s used CAT C7 engines. I thought only the 2003-2007 Blue Bird Visions did.

I graduated high school June 1, 2014. 2nd 9 weeks of my junior year through the end of my senior year I rode on a 04 FS65 with the Cat C7. It left us sitting one time my senior year as the radiator had gotten a hole in somehow but, it always run good and started easy except in the cold if she wasn't plugged up once it got down so low she wouldn't start on her own. teens and 20's she would start on her own but, was a little cranky. Once it started though and warmed up it had plenty of power.

I had a Blue Bird TC3000 FE with a Cat C7 on my route when I was in grade 6, which was the ‘13-‘14 school year. Our sub bus was a Thomas Freightliner FS65 with a Cat 3126 and 5-speed manual transmission. They were still around when I was in Junior High, so I believe they were retired by the busing company when I started high school just before the start of the ‘17-‘18 s/y. Caterpillar diesels have serenaded me with their whiney sound for a long time and I perk up every time I hear one to this day!

I rode on one of these as well back in 5th grade, except had the Mercedes motor, and the radiator got the same issue too. I'm not sure of year but it prob is an 04
