The air car would be most effective when it has a fully autonomous flight control system and is integrated through 5G communication technologies. Still some years away but not many!
Interesting idea, and helicopters are a mature technology, but manned air cars are not yet proven. Safety is the main question at the moment. Air car pilots need training and certification.
Not until we are done with our Electrical Aircraft Technological self sufficiency as well as the Older Generation Aircraft Engines for C919. Still some time away for Delivery Drones and Drone Taxis to operate but will eventually be done by 2030-2035. This should be the time period. But, hey, On a side Note, Where is our Presidential Drone? That should be inside our Presidential Electric Aircraft and wben our Plane Lands on an Foreign Soil, our Dronecade will accompany him to the venue. I wish to see it soon though. I hope more Key Breakthroughs in Semiconductors, Railways and Planes and Automobiles are incoming..... Including in Biotech and Culture.
