When I first clapped eyes on Sean Lock in QI, I mistook him for a recently defrocked Jesuit who would start cracking risque jokes after a glass of sherry or two. I'm glad he's become one of the wittiest comedians Britain has produced, along with David Mitchell.
@@simac3880 It isn't necessary to take offense at that and drag age into the argument. Not all humor is funny as the years go by. The fat jokes on the first series of HIGNFY against Fergie aren't amusing to me although I was interested in the political history in those episodes. Attacking a person's appearance isn't my idea of being witty. I find some humor to be so dated a person would have to be a real fan to enjoy them now. For instance, I can't watch Don Rickles or Joan Rivers. And it has to be said that humor that centers on people few know anymore isn't as funny today. If a person has to do research online to get the joke, that kills the laugh.
ReWatch 2020 : Fun Fact ; Jenna Bush now co-hosts a show that spends a good amount of the time on air celebrating that Brunch Glass of Wine to keep the day going.....
