We do not need to demonstrate secularism. All sections attending education system are responsible qualify minimally to attend education systems and uniform dress codes are one of the qualification criteria. If someone does not qualify, education system certainly will deny.

I have been denied to enter a class for not doing a homework, or bunking a class and the teacher complained about me. What are you talking about? Obviously if you don’t follow the rules of an institution, they will not allow you to be a part of it in a way that you expect. They have to consider the others who are equally a part of the institution and have the right to feel equal and not give a special status to one community over another. Period.

It seems there has been a lot of cry with this "uniform" and "hijab is against uniform". A person can wear uniform and then wear Hijab with it, like in winter one wears uniform plus sweater and jackets. Likewise, if a person wears uniform and has bindi on her forehead, it's still uniform. If a person wears uniform, and has turban on his head, it's still uniform. If a person wears uniform, and then has thier religious necessity on it too, what's the issue there? Why does one have to choose between education and religion? One can have both at the same time. As we have been all these years, it's simple really. Why suddenly nowadays there is a choice given? "Either choose education or religion" Ridiculous argument really.

a lady cannot smoke cigarette in a no smoking zone. a sikh cannot carry kirpan in airplane, you are denied entry in a restaurant where jackets and formals are a must and you are not in the dress code. similarly a student not wearing uniform is denied entry in the school which actually is an institution. is burka a uniform if not then why are you wearing it? and if you want to wear it go to a school where burka is the uniform.

@@musically_boy I don't know Sati Pratha is still relevant because I have studied in my School Days that Sathi Pratha has been abolished by Raja Ram Mohan Roy. Secondly, Are Hindus and State interfering your religious rights in person space or Public space.? You have all the right to follow your religion in personal space (Home, Masjid, Madarsa) but constitutionally you are bound to follow uniform weather you like it or not, if you are registered under any state run institution(School, College, Defence Services) in that case you are bound to follow the rules and u can't deny those rules. "Uniform" the word itself mean establishing homogeneous system. Uniform serves purpose of establishing equality among the students.

I request Dr swamy to revise reservation system in educational institutions. Reserved category people are getting seats in open category as well as reserved categories. In NEET exam a boy of muslim minority are getting seats even for 410 marks. They are getting seats in all colleges under BC E category , but no minority college allowing seats for Hindus.. Even after reaching 10 - 15 persant of the population claiming minority. quota. So many Christians are claiming reservation under Hindu - sc. Indian govts are rejecting living option for general category students. I request Dr swamy to put a petition on this.

1. In the constitution, the dress code of school or college is also written. 2. Read sub clause 2 under section 133 education act 1983. Article 19 also mentions about institutional right. 3. The institute, school, college can make its own rules by staying within the purview of the constitution. 4. The law of that institute, school, college has to be obeyed by the members and students there. Sindoor, mangalsutra, bungalow, necklace, bar ring, dhaga are not under the dress code. These are not all clothes. That's why these does not come in the dress code. 5. Hijab and Barkha are clothes. That's why it's violation of dress code. 6. Sikhs have got a special right for turban. This law has been in place since the British rule. Sikhs have got a special status in the Motor Vehicle Act. Even if they does not wear a helmet. It will work. It is mandatory to wear a turban of Sikh uniform colors in school, college.

Unfortunately the institution tht ws headed by a right wing hindutva guy don't think from the same lines.. There are hindu schools which follow uniform but always begin the assembly or daily classes with a hymn , even in my days in 90s,but none of the muslim parents objected to it till date... The rationale people like you hve shrunk today, its more of hindutva adrenalin, so its all abt pushing tht sadistic policies... If the management suddenly wanted this to implement they shl hve given time till exams and askd the girls switch schools for the following year.. but this is not the idea, instead it is to play with sentiments of a particular group..
