Still, at 36:03, the CM could've just kept his rook on the 1st rank and White would be completely paralysed and playing without a knight and a rook. If he had done that, Hikaru simply wouldn't have a chance at getting back into the game.

@@mhm8742 most tricks are. That's the whole point of a gambit is to hope your opponent doesn't know how to respond correctly and gets in serious trouble. Why do you think gambit aren't played at a high level? It bc they know how to respond correctly

stafford leads to delayed extended bongcloud, very nice apparently, it's a forced draw after Qh4+ Ke3 Re8+ Kd2, but if after Re8+ Kf3, the engine prefers black if Qh4+ Kf3, it's 0.0 in any case, both side have to play extremely precisely in order to not just lose on the spot what an insane position

They should do like they do with black belts, there are levels to a black belt and I think it's different in various Martial arts, but in karate the black belt ranks are called "Dan", so you could add level ranks to the GM title.

Im pretty sure Qh4+ is the main theory move there. Seen Rosen play that line dozens of times and Im pretty sure he plays Qh4+ every time.
