Hiking this gorgeous Missouri Conservation Little Lost Creek area in the Spring of 2021 with my little dog 'Shorty. This footage was early April and the spring Blue-Eyed Mary's are in full bloom covering the forest floor with purple-bluish colors.

Ever do any mushrooming? Most folks don't seem to know or even care about anything other than morels, but I study mushrooms year round. It brings me a lot of peace to wander the woods and make discoveries. Look around next time you're out at a place like this. Once you start noticing them, it seems that they find you!

I like finding BIG OLD trees too! You don't see many these days, but parks and preserves are one of the better places to see any.

Yes. Always on the look out for shrooms. I'm kind of chicken I only pick the ones I can absolutely identify. Morels and Chantrels

@@fuddlife nothing wrong with that! You'll only eat the wrong mushroom once! Old saying: There are many old mushroom hunters. There are many bold mushroom hunters. There aren't many old and bold mushroom hunters. Lol. Take care my friend.
