Kraig Adams inspired me to solo hike as well. I've hesitated in the beginning but then I realized that I shouldn't hold back on these amazing experiences because traveling alone is "unusual". I've been doing it for 2 years now and my experiences have been amazing!
Love your video. I am also planning to go and hike there and it was very informative. How many miles of backpacking experience you had before this trip?
Thank you so much Rahul. Not much experience, I did two backpacking trips before this and that were for 1 night each but I have been hiking a lot. You should definitely go, it is worth it. I was really slow in the beginning but I was able to catch up later on.
Hey, July is a great time to do this hike. For me acclimating to this altitude was easy but I grew up in mountains so I rarely feel altitude sickness. I would suggest to spend some time in the area if you have never lived in altitude before also running helps as well as it makes your lungs stronger. Enjoy your hike. This place is very beautiful.
@@SunnyBinjola I'm planning on going by plane to Denver sleeping in a hotel than going to Aspen the following morning. Will that be enough time to acclimate?
