Hiking and camping at South Llano River State Park 

Despite the thunderstorms, we spent a day and a half camping and hiking at South Llano River State Park near Junction, Texas. It has a nice campground and miles of hiking trails to take as you look for wildlife, including the 250 species of birds that have been identified there.
Also, if you're luckier than we were and have clear skies for camping, you can enjoy South Llano being an International Dark Sky Park!
