Coronado National Memorial commemorates the expedition of Francisco Vázquez de Coronado in 1540, as he sought to find the mystical Seven Cities of Gold. We did the scenic drive up the Montezuma Pass, then hiked to the Coronado peak and a little bit of Joe's Canyon trail. We finished with exploring Coronado cave which is a wild limestone cave.
We are Matt & Diana and we live in an RV full time and are on a journey to visit all 400+ National Park Units. To follow us along subscribe to our channel here ru-vid.com...
Coronado National Memorial was unit #8 out of #419 on our journey to visit them all. See a detailed write up here: www.adventurousway.com/blog/c...

Looks like a cool but slightly eerie cave. Nice formations inside the cave. Yucky flies.
@AdventurousWay
@AdventurousWay 5 лет назад
Yeah, flies weren't fun, but overall we did enjoy it.

Another nice Video. I am glad you guys are having fun and getting to see our National Parks. Happy 4th of July! I have been cleared by my doctor for travel. We are leaving the end of July. Basically, headed to Michigan this time. We will stop at Mammoth Cave National Park, Indiana Dunes National Park, Sleeping Bear National Lake Shore, Pictured Rocks National Lake Shore, The Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village, and Cuyahoga Valley National Park just to name a few.

Good one! The cave was a little freaky but cool. I lived in AZ, but had never heard of this place, thanks for "taking me there." PS--I am semi-obsessed with Outdoors RV, currently leaning toward the 21KVS Mountain Series. Maybe a used one sometime next year. Sticking to my CampLite for now. Love all of the windows in the KVS.

Just checked 21KVS on the website - wow, yes, all those windows look fantastic!

I live about 10 minutes away from here :) I love it so much! I would say if you ever come back, you should DEFINITELY hike to Miller Peak. It’s an entire different world up there- flowers & plants you wouldn’t think of seeing in Arizona, raspberries everywhere, and lots of wildlife!
@AdventurousWay

Added to the list! I love wild raspberries! Thanks for the recommendation!

What a cool idea! Where did you get your passport book? Or what is it called? Thank you very much and great video!
@AdventurousWay
@AdventurousWay Год назад
It's called Passport to your national parks. Here is one place you can find them: shop.americasnationalparks.org/store/category/30/278/Passport-Books/ Most national park visitor centers have them too.

How's the outdoors RV holding up?
@AdventurousWay
@AdventurousWay 5 лет назад
Hey Andy, it has been a year and so far we have been very happy with our Outdoors RV. It has gotten us into beautiful places, the insulation has saved on furnace noise and propane, we love how open it feels and the big dinette is great for working days. Sure, there have been few minor things that unscrew over time or break - but nothing that we haven't been able to fix with a screwdriver or superglue. We do plan to make a review video at some point.

Awesome! Have fun! Which model do you have?
@shorttrack58

I have the 25 RDS 31ft. I think I should have gone smaller to get into more places but it's ok I dry camp a lot.

omg -- not sure I'd be courageous enough to be exploring the cave as you guys did! Your quest reminds me of the channel "All the Stations" - British couple visited every one of the UK train stations ru-vid.com ... you're "All the Parks" :-).
@AdventurousWay
@AdventurousWay 5 лет назад
That's funny you mention that! We did discover All the Stations channel before we started our channel and it was really fun to watch. It also sort of gave us hope that there are some people that like watching others accomplishing quests. :) Now you also gave me an idea - I should create a playlist on our channel called "All the Parks" :)
